Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
George Clooney at the Convenient Store :
First time Lynch says "I wish I..."
Hah! You'll never make me talk! Never, you hear me?
Anyhow, I only mentioned the touring thing; I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition.
That's because no one expects the Spanish Inquisition, or deceased rock stars being impersonated by tin machine like tea kettles.
If Sam hadn't posted that, I would have. Ah, Monty Python - so literal, so easy to understand.

LOL!!!
I see you're not letting go of the teapot. I love it!
Nope.
I think the only reason Lynch even said anything about it is because it's the one thing we've figured out. And he just couldn't let that be. 😉
Well, at least you moved on from calling it a tea kettle, of which there is no such animal, so that's a good start.
My ex (US) GF used to call it that, too. Drove me up the wall.

Then perhaps there IS such an animal. It's just not indigenous to your end corner of the world. 😉
Even Mr. Lynch believes in the elusive and majestic Tea Kettle beast.
Lol right?! He wants to explain that Jeffries is NOT a tea kettle dammit, but won't divulge or answer any of the big questions.
The BIG new : David Lynch reads the comments on internet, or someone reports them for him.
But David worships coffee and naming his machine "a tea kettle" is blasphemous.
OK David, Jeffries is a machine now.
So why the remote control is in Buenos Aires ?
The remote is the rock. The tea kettle is the star. Together they make a rock star.
I hear you Brandy. The teapot had a certain charm because Bowie was British, and I do love tea. The thing that I like about this revelation is that I felt that David Bowie as Jeffries should not be immortalized as a kettle. I like the idea that he is a machine because I think it fits with his living self and his body of music a bit better. Steam comes out of machines too. I think Lynch must have felt strongly that seeing Jeffries as a teapot was wrong, otherwise he wouldn't have said anything. Wish he'd tell us about the ending!

Maybe this is the NEW Lynch who wants us to understand things. I have often thought it would be hilarious if Lynch turned out to be someone on this forum. Maybe he knows how badly we want answers!
And now for something completely different . . . Lynch also said that some people's description of the Evo of the Arm was wrong in that it was simply a head on a body (not a brain atop a nervous system).
Seriously?!?!? These are the things he wants to explain?!?!?!
Seriously?!?!? These are the things he wants to explain?!?!?!
Doesn't want fans to get the wrong impression. ?

This must be a dream!

I'm facepalming. I hope he's reading this. Explain something more, please - perhaps the ending!
