I'm becoming more and more convinced that both the Cooper and Diane that went into the alternate reality/timeline are, in fact, tulpas, although neither realized until they had already crossed over. Diane was the first to realize when she saw a vision of her double. I think this was basically just symbolic of her making the connection.

This got me thinking about her name in this reality "Linda". I read somewhere on this forum (apologies but can't remember the originator) that "Naido" can be written as a rearrangement of the first four letters of Diane's name, with a number:

Naido = naiD(0)

Following the same pattern for "Linda", we get:

Linda = (1)inDa

Maybe the fact that the number is one higher indicates she was made after Naido.

This doesn't really apply to Coop, but you have to admit it is interesting.

What about Candie, Mandie and Sandie?

This is not my theory, read it in some long-distant thread:

Linda

Diane

Naido

Candie

Cross out all but one of each of these names and you're left with COLE.

Anyone remember Aronofky's Pi where a bunch of religious people where looking for a secret 216-letter number in Torah to unlock some ultimate meaning of the universe?

are we forgetting Dales letter to Gordon which Mullens read aloud? He said something like 253 equals 10, the number of completion. 253 he was referring to the time that the portals opened up, when he came through and Dougie went in. And when Mr C was supposed to go back in, when he had his car crash. Anyway, the number is discovered in what to OP referred to-
