I'd enjoy a few more seasons, but if that doesn't come together, I think a graphic novel would be the perfect way to carry on this story. In fact, I wish they'd do this with a lot of cult favorites. They did a few for Firefly but I don't think that has been ongoing. It's perfect though, you can write it at your own pace. You don't need to worry about actors not being available or interested. You don't have to worry about budget as much. You can make your stories as long and as grand as you want. I'd love a Twin Peaks comic series.

I'm just not sure how I feel about that.
Damn, you know what your right. Not for this. Sound and cinematography are so important to the story. Can't convey any of that the way Lynch does in a graphic novel.
While I love books, I don't think that's the medium to convey Lynch's style and the unique aspects of TP.
Bob Engels had an idea for a Twin Peaks graphic novel, years ago. Lynch vetoed it. That was, however, at the time he said he'd no interest in continuing Twin Peaks.
If they decide to produce such a thing, I really hope they get an artist who can actually draw. Too many current comic book artists play fast and loose with things like anatomy and composition as if they're trying to copy some of the European illustrators from Metal Hurlant, but forgetting those guys really could draw.
