Lol! I don't think anyone's claiming that whole parts will link together, but there are definitely some bits which do - and by the arrangement of the overlay it looks like they 'fit' together in a way that's far too exact for any 'oh they might just be supposed to have similar themes' or whatever.
I also find it funny that we're now being told that since the producer says 'that's not the way to watch these parts' that it's gospel. How many times has it been said the TSHOTP isn't canon? 😉

At the very least--the syncing is worth review. It shows at least there are parallel pacing issues, cadences, and such in the individual episodes. It tells us a lot about the flow of the show, if nothing else!

Sometimes at the same time of some episodes (scenes and ending of episode 17 and 18, Sarah Palmer killing the trucker and watching lions eating a buffalo alive, episode 2 and 14), sometimes with a song (My Prayer, episode 8 and 18), or maybe sometimes with elements not yet found (noises ? colors ? blinking windows plane ?)
(I've checked with activity in front of the Convenient Store episode 8 for the blinking plane...huh...maybe blinking woodsmen)

What was that all about? Hasn't anybody had a theory? Seems like it should be able to be figured out given it was in the show by Bushnell just by looking at it.
My thought was that the ladders and stairs showed a flow of money laundering up and down some kind of hierarchal chain that Cooper showed the links in.
Unless Lynch went to the trouble of creating an actual, working fraud scheme I think it's unlikely that it's possible to glean actual meaning from the documents. Besides that I don't think we saw all the pages that Bushnell did.
