So... how then does Coop slowly, slowly creep the odometer up to what we might suppose is 430 miles if he began somewhere on a footpath in the forest? Sure, he could've done the math, subtracted the 2.718 miles from JRP (or GG) to get to his car, but doesn't that seem fishy? did he have a surveyer's wheel to get the exact footage to the vehicle? Either we don't sweat the details, or they must have started counting from somewhere more measurable. I mean, it sure looked like he tried to stick the landing to within 10 feet or so.
But didn't Windom Earle drive Pete's truck right up to the grove at the end of season 2? Or am I remembering that wrong?
