Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
How can you tell Naido is an Asian woman? Because her name is Naido?
Diane =
Od i a n (e)She has no eyes or power of speech. This would be a great way to hide the real Diane. By the way none of this was my idea. You can read the original ideas in the other thread below.

hmmmmmmmm
And the unused letters spell "Leo." Spirit of Leo Johnson at work here?
I understood the ALL as KILL THEM ALL
I thought it could mean that, too. Then when Diane sent coordinates again (correct ones), that implied that she (and Jefferies or Ray) had given him the incorrect/incomplete coordinates earlier, so I re-interpreted it as "laughing at you all" and/or "give me ALL the correct numbers."
I am hoping that the real Diane is Naido, since Diane said I am at the sheriff's station right before she went to pull out her gun.
I agree, Megan. Also Naido is making a weird sound but can't get anything to come out since her lips are shut. I wonder if that sound she's trying to make is, Dddddiii...Dddiiiiia (As in Diane)? It sounds kind of sharp like the sound of a "D" makes, at least to me anyways.
The trouble with Naido being Diane is that she doesn't appear to behave like any other dopple or Tulpa we've seen, nor does she appear to be "dougified".
Yet she's important, people are coming to kill her (men are coming), and they have to protect her.
Maybe they'll have Dopplecoop arrive at Twin Peaks first (looks like he's already there), convince everyone he's the real Dale. Then the real Dale shows up and there's a bit of that "nuh, uh, I am" shenanigans that go on, and they leave it to Lucy to finger the real Coop. With everyone, audience included, wondering if she made the right decision or not?
Honestly I'll think it's tacky/cheesy if Diane and Naido end up being the same. Yet somehow I won't think so if Naido winds up being Judy. I can't really reconcile all of that in my mind.
The main problem with that theory is that so far all Tulpas have the same face as the person they're a tulpa of, so I don't see how Naido and Diane can be one and the same.
Diane's consciousness/soul/operating system could be in Naido, and, since Dougie Jones wasn't an exact, detail for detail copy of Cooper, it's possible Tulpas could look like anything.
Or, maybe Naido's appearance has been altered, or there's some kind of camouflage that makes her look like an Asian woman.
Or, of course, the real Diane could be long dead, hidden away somewhere. Beats me.
Dougie Jones wasn't an exact, detail for detail copy of Cooper? (Is this a joke?)
Not a very convincing argument, it only proves my theory actually.
Remember too that Lois Duffy's tulpa looked just liked her.
There's nothing so far that implies that people's souls are trapped in another's one body.
It's been however said and shown many times, (Dougie/Cooper is another example of that), that tulpa look like their original being.
Dougie was fat, had a whiny voice and bad hair. Cooper is in shape, has a firm voice and is well groomed. As stated, "detail for detail". No, it's not a joke; my jokes are generally easy to spot, in fact, I'm noted for it.
Would be a good joke though 🙂
But seriously, in that case, Naido would have been played by a disguised Laura Dern, and not by Yuki Nae.

Throw Candi in and the letters that don't match spell COLE. ?
Y'all forgot our superhero, Andy!

That would have given it away way too easily though, unless they just didn't list who played her, but they did. *shrug*

She may well be but has a "Patented Lodge Asian Woman Impersonator Cloaking Device (TM)" implanted, or something.
Come on, this is Twin Peaks. The silliest things often turn out to be true.
I beg to differ, the world of Twin Peaks is very coherent, and never silly. (this is not Game of Thrones)
And again, when Diane says, "I"m at the Sherrif's office", isn't it a bit too obvious a statement?
My guess is, Naido is Judy (Josie's sister) and Diane is trapped inside Cooper's dictaphone, which is somewhere at the Sherriff's office.
How come nobody has wondered about the dictaphone?

Now, the dictaphone is a good idea. It's certainly plausible, if you accept the (completely rational and non-silly) idea that people can be trapped in drawer knobs. 😉
Seriously, though, I do like that one.
