Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Random doubts after a rocky week in real life. I have only managed to read a few threads so forgive me if I missed something.
1) Is Richard really dead? He did seem to go up in flames but it also felt to me like he could have been whisked to the Red Room (ring or no ring) or to the Black Lodge. There's a poetic justice in Mr. C's callousness towards his son and Richard's quick demise after all his posturing, but I wanted to hear more of their conversation.
(For that matter, is Diane dead? Yeah, yeah, tulpa etc. I admit I grew a bit impatient with tulpas because by now they seem an ubiquitous McGuffin. I'm uneasy at the thought of Janey-E and Sonny Jim with a tulpa, I hope it turns out differently. And Diane had unfinished business with Good Dale. She said she was at the sheriff's station... Will she reappear as a tape recorder?)
2) Will it be revealed that Audrey's middle name is Linda? This abysmally stupid idea came to me because I keep thinking about what Audrey will do when (if) she wakes up / comes out of the Whatever Lodge and discovers Mr. C killed their son (assuming he's dead). Will she considers it a just revenge? Or will some misguided but deep maternal instinct turn her into a force of fury against Mr. C?
3) Linda = Laura, alive again at the Fat Trout? Someone suggested it here and elsewhere. It makes some sense to me because we have an apparently important name still unattached to a person, and, on the other hand, a very important person who hasn't been found yet, despite her father's plea to Dale.
I don't believe Linda is Candie. I think people are putting too much emphasis on Candie and looking for a clean parental relation between one character and another, like a George Lucas film - this ain't Star Wars 😉
Or Once upon a time, where every new random character ends up being one of the main cast's long-forgotten dad/mom/uncle/son/daughter/baker/chihuahua.
Yeah, Candie is Candie. All there is to it. Just like the original run had new characters like Tojamura, who weren't secretly someone else related to the main cast. (Wait, was he? What do you mean, 'she'?!)
I'm aware I'm making a huge assumption 🙂
And will likely be proven wrong like every other theory I've had so far 😀
4-3-0.... This is not the real meaning of 4-3-0.... but it is fun
Episode 3- Mother/experiment and hitmans at Rancho Rosa try to kill Cooper.
Episode 4- Cooper wins the money at the Casino to pay off his gambling debt ... takes away the threat
3+4=7......
Episode7- Ike fails in his attempt to kill Coop
Ep16- Coop is finally awake...... (1+6=7)
so... ep3+ep4=7 ___ep7___ep16(1+6=7)--->777 Jackpot!!!
