>>2 birds with 1 stone will be a message about taking out Bob along with Evil Coop (this goes against a previous idea I had that Bob is gone from Evil Coop and will show up at the end in a new host right before the credits run).<<
I didn't see your previous post, but I think I agree with it! *Something* certainly happened when Ray shot Mr. C and the woodsmen came out to paw him all over. I think it also has to be significant when he sees BOB in his reflection and says, "Good, you're still with me." That would suggest Mr. C can exist without Bob, though maybe not with his full powers. I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest this, but maybe the price he paid for being shot is that BOB is no longer "with him."
My take is that BOB probably can't be destroyed, at least not by any means we know of right now. ("I'll see you again in... five years?") If he's driven from one vessel (Leland, Mr. C), he simply moves onto another - or at best into purgatory.
But maybe Mr. C is now without BOB, and maybe he won't know it until the crucial moment in the inevitable showdown. Maybe this means Mr. C, at least, CAN be destroyed, which would certainly be a step in the right direction.

Maybe now the Woodsmen are all infested with BOB and they'll have a battle royals against the Bookhouse Boys, which might end quickly with even Freddy's green glove unable to beat a Bob/woodsman.
Just kidding. Kinda
I've had a wild thought that maybe Linda won't be Mr. C's offspring (or evil) after all. Maybe she's Hawk's daughter or wife?
The idea is that she's meant to be someone's offspring (& we haven't met her yet). So far supposedly we've met (& know) everyone's family, except Hawk's.....

Yes, he has played a big role this season, and the Log Lady spoke as though he had a great fate to fulfill. Perhaps he will defeat Mr C and bring balance to the force. I mean, lodge.
I know this is a very, very literal interpretation..but should we all be ignoring the fact a stone literally killed Richard?
Maybe that statement was less metaphorical than we thought?
I still think Candie is Linda and the offspring of Diane and Mr C.
2 birds with one stone may be a reference to Bob inside Mr.C so you kill Mr C and Bob at the same time. It may also be a reference to owls. It may also refer to 2 Coopers who look similar and then to decide who is the real one they have to throw stones at bottles. It may refer to 2 mothers if Sarah Palmer is the girl from 1956 and the Judy is the experiment mother inside her and she is killed by something killing both mothers at the same time.
I've just been wondering if the stone differentiates between good & bad...? So, if Richard was the evil twin - he gets zapped. If Linda is good though...?
fwiw (i expect very little)
Richard & Linda --> R & L --> Right & Left

Then she turns into Laura!
Or, better yet,
she starts singing James's song!
I have a feeling that "Richard and Linda" does not refer to Richard Horne and the new fat trout veteran. I think DL threw that out as a red herring.

I reckon he's chucked us a whole cran* of red herrings...
Yes, that's one of the collective nouns for herrings. Now try & drop it into everyday conversation. 😉
Speaking of Richard dying on that stone, I'm torn between two explanations of *why* he died on that stone.
Was it because he was holding the device Bad Coop gave him? Or was that simply a homing device as Bad Coop described? If the latter, was he killed because somehow the "Cooper" DNA was detected? Surely, not every human who ever climbs/climbed on that stone is/has been killed, right? So why Richard? I'm leaning toward the idea that it's because he was Coop's offspring. Thoughts?

That's kinda what I've been wondering about - if it's almost a sorting-hat entity. If various people are now wooden handles or metal tea pots, I don't see why we can't have a discriminatory rock?
