Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
ok so what is she in a nut house ??
Her spirit seems to be in the lodge, while her body is probably in a nuthouse somewhere near Twin Peaks.
I have a feeling that her encounter with Mr C at the hospital post the bank explosion sends her into her "mentally ill" stage, which she's only able to break out just now...
Hey guys, I think the Roadhouse is a real place but it is full of dimensional holes due to its history, location, and to the fact that people do so many drugs and drink there so they are often not in their right mind and are vulnerable to "influences."
Michele, maybe she can be recovered. I foresee a meeting with the real Dale in her future.
My thought so as well 🙂
All of that electricity noice made me think she's someplace worse.
Yes. It looks like he made a mess of both women.
All three of them. How's Annie? Not well at all.

I love your optimism.. maybe
So was she really at the Roadhouse?
Is the Roadhouse even a real place? It has an establishing shot, so...
See I thought the bang bang bar wasn't real.. but they showed the bang bang bar and then the announcer said the roadhouse presences Eddie whatever even though it was Eddie Vedder .. and the roadhouse is from the original series is it not??
I feel like I'm slowly going crazy myself
That's Eddie Vedder's full name hahahaha.
That was pretty slick I had no idea
Eddie actually does that (shows under his real name) at random bars.
The roadhouse featured a similar scene in season 2 maybe episode 20 or so when he appears onstage whilst Maddy is being murdered.
"It's happening again "
Coop is dancing with Annie. The giant says " no no." And then gives him the ring back.
So the roadhouse is certainly a portal to the waiting room of the giant.
"Wow! What an ending!"
I'm using the immortal words of Homer Simpsons to describe the ending of this episode! Those were his words after watching "The Empire Strikes Back" in 1980. And I guess I'm now experiencing a little bit like what that ending must have felt like in 1980.
But the show is not over yet.
It will be really interesting to see how this Audrey business turns out.

Now that we know Bad Cooper is a serial rapist, it opens the door to terrible truths to be sure.

Was it a sign that she and Coop are psychically connected? Given the difference in timing in timelines .... maybe we witnessed her snapping out of it when Coop stuck the fork in the outlet .... hence the electricity sounds??????
My take on it is the Roadhouse is the dream-state (I'm sure this must have been suggested loads before) & involves your subconscious prodding you towards certain actions you wouldn't carry out in real life.
So that would explain 'odd' music/bands playing; people talking about a jumble of some people you know & puzzling strangers etc.
I loved Audrey's dance & how she went from self-conscious & stiff to more like her old self...
Okay this might be a very stupid question but are the bang bang bar and the roadhouse two different places? I thought they were the same thing ... lol
When I originally heard the lyrics to Eddie Vedder's song, I thought it was about Dale Cooper, but now I think maybe it is about Audrey.
Running Out of Sand
[Verse 1]
Can't climb to heaven on the cross
One liar's promise drained the blood from my heart
Came a message in the dark
Offered the hand of a disembodied man
While I still had the chance
[Chorus]
Now it's gone, gone
And I am who I am
Who I was I will never be again
Running out of sand
[Verse 2]
I stare at my reflection to the bone
Blurred eyes look back at me
Full of blame and sympathy
So, so close
Right roads not taken, the future's forsaken
Dropped like a fossil or stone
[Chorus]
Now it's gone, gone
And I am who I am
Who I was I will never come again
Running out of sand
[Verse 3]
A drunk octopus wants to fight
Fearful of dreams, there'll be no sleep tonight
Fine at dinner, dead by dessert
Victim or witness, we're gonna get hurt
A fragile existence with echoes of wrath
I can't stop the bleeding nor the tears from thine eye
There's another us around somewhere with much better lives
With God as our witness but he won’t testify
[Chorus]
Oh now it's gone, gone
And I am who I am
Who I was I'll never have the chance
Running out of sand
Running out of sand
Running out of sand

I think they're the same thing, but different 'branding' - so the whole thing might be known as the Roadhouse, but the bar area (open every night) is the Bang Bang Bar. But if there's a band on, it might be promoted by 'Roadhouse ents' or whatever, if that makes sense?

The Roadhouse and the Bang Bang Bar are the same place. The Roadhouse is a nickname locals give it.
Did she wake up when Richard was electrocuted to 'death'?
