Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Continuity error.
Hey, gang. New to this party. I thought the "ALL" text meant "remember all" (not to be confused with Neville's Remembrall) of the things that happened to her that night - the smiley face to remind her of Badcoop's "real" face. Then it triggered her sleeper agent Tulpa mission.
As many have said, forgive me if this has already been thrown out there.
I thought he was telling Diane to give him ALL of the numbers of the coordinates, since he saw that the coordinates he had received from two sources were actually a trap.
Yes exactly. The smiley was a threat (Bobs face during the rape) and ALL was a demand to hand over all the coordinates.
Diane's bracelets. The red and yellow bracelets on her right hand switch order (kinda like a traffic light switching between yellow and red) between when we see her at the bar with one phone and the time she's with Cole and the Blue Rose squad.
I don't think these are continuity errors.
I think Tulpa Diane attacked the Blue Rose squad first, around 15:50, and then we saw another Diane (real Diane?) at the bar. Or this could be something without a simple "tulpa vs. real Diane" explanation. Even so, I think the changing of phones/times and changing of bracelets would be purposeful. Look at how much attention they give to set design, clothing, and makeup on this show. You think they would screw up wardrobe and props like this?....
Or maybe Diane knows how to change herself by swapping the order of those yellow/red bracelets. Perhaps I'll investigate all her scenes sometime.
Also, when Diane arrives at the Blue Rose room and gives her testimony, Cole is looking inquisitively down to his left. I had assumed he was eyeing her purse, but after realizing the bracelets were out of order, I'm now thinking that he was looking at her bracelets! We spend a lot of camera time on Gordon looking down toward her hand in that scene.
4:30 was the time Andy was supposed to meet the Farmer
Being an iPhone user I can say there is iMessage. If one I phone user text another it comes over as an imessge and those are always blue. If someone who does not have an iPhone sends to an iPhone comes over as a text and always in green. Sometimes if you loose connectivity with imsg even though both have iPhone they come across as text. When my hubby flys he sometimes gets a msg I sent first as a text then again as a iMessage with different time stamps.... since Mr C had no service when sent this could that be a possibility?.....a lot of people say one having a period and one not is just a continuity issue?
MJ, I have to say now, I'm all confused, based on what you just wrote. I assumed ALL meant, "Diane Tulpa, kill all the FBI Blue Rose personnel." What do you interpret it to mean?
I blurted out at that moment in the episode, "that means kill them all." Not even entirely sure why that's what I thought; it was a gut reaction. But I still think that's what it meant. I don't think she pulled out her gun in order to commit "suicide by cop (FBI)". I think she had some kind of conditioning by Coopelganger, which caused her to try to obey his orders, but she was fighting against because she still believed she was the real Diane, which caused her to hesitate enough for Albert and Tammy to stop her.
When she looks at the message again in the hotel room, the text says it was sent at 15:50.
Actually Diane receved a second one while she was talking to the blue rose team. The first one contains also the answer, the second doesn't (it was received just before the shooting...)
Ok so I wasn't seeing things. But I just thought it was the original msg with a different time stamp. Interesting if it's a 2nd text. Also from Mr C? Or someone else?
It is worse. The time code of then the text was sent differs each time she looks at her phone. First it is 16:31, yes, then when she responds with the coordinates it says 16:44 (the time code on the received text itself). When she looks at it again right before the shooting it says 15:50. The idea that this was a further text, as seems to have been suggested above, would be a good one, except for the fact that 15:50 is earlier than 16:31. And, then, also, yeah, Mr C.'s phone said 2:05am....
Also, one says "text message" and one is "iMessage," one has a period and one does not. They're two separate messages, but why? Are the both from Mr. C? I was excited that the "430" from the premiere was brought back, but I don't understand the other times. Was 350 ever mentioned?
