I ain't no damn hippie. Even when I had long hair, you'd never have mistaken me for a hippie.
The Hurlman is a much under-used character - horrible song aside - and I really hope to see him do something worthwhile in the show. It's about time, anyhow.
James seemed a bit brain damaged, after "good to see you again" and her husband getting angry, he starts saying to her "I like you..." and her husband attacks.
I figured he was just a bit drunk.

James? Doubt it. I figured they'd only just arrived and besides, he's a responsible citizen. I doubt he'd drink and drive. He's reckoned to be a bit "quiet" after his accident, though. Maybe, as MJ suggested, his injury is causing the hesitation.

Does he still drive after the accident? Has that been brought up?
Thinking back, I don't think it seemed like they skipped much time after they got there, so you're probably right.
Bad singer?? u try that... Hippies hating...
Is this intentionally ironic?
Noticed while rewatching: the sound Freddie's green fist makes seems to actually interrupt the song playing at the Roadhouse, like an actual electric interference.

Yep. His fist could anihilate, say, Woodsman. Pounding the ground could also disrupt interdimensional travel. Will be interesting to find out how he figures out when to use his gift. Maybe he enters the convenience store/Dutchman's causing chaos with every strike of his fist!

Maybe not driving these days but then, I don't think they do too many buses round that part of town. Can't see Freddie driving, either. He'd crush the steering wheel to powder before they went 10 yards.
I imagined they had only just arrived by the way James was greeting Renee. It gave me the impression they'd not been there long.
You know, Freddie must have to be really careful when taking a leak, too. If he's strongly right handed - like most right handed people - he'd find it difficult to aim with the left. But one false move and he could be left with a pulped pecker. That would probably ruin his whole day.

If he wasn't before he would be know....he took four blows to the head in that fight....eeck.
Freddie's there to turn the tide in the fight with Mr. C..........
No hay banda!
OT: I was so excited to see ZZ Top, instead we got The Evolution of ZZ Top: a cardboard volume dial that goes up to eleven and beyond.
I'm getting obsessed with Evolutions, I see them everywhere.

I'd rather not, if it's all the same to you.
