I'm wondering if that is a later scene? Perhaps not.

Lynch left a lot of things dangling off a cliff in this part. Think we'll get a lot of reveals and confirmations next week to prepare us for the finale.

Will Batman & Robin be rescued from the furnace room by James? Tune in next week, same bat time, same bat channel. 😀

Freddy Krueger, obviously. Duh.

But will he be on good Coop or bad Coop's side, and will he jump out of Sarah Palmer's face?

Nah, Freddy's got gnarly teeth. Sarah's inside smile looks dental commercial fresh.

I actually yelled at the TV when James came on, wanting to know about the scary door.

So many ridiculous things coud come out of the scary door.

So you can't be mad at James for not wanting to know, right..? I mean you're not the one who has to wonder if he should open that damn door. 😉

I can't imagine he didn't open that door.

He's paid to help with the hotel's security, not to endanger his life! The guy knows best 😉

- The still missing page of Laura's diary?

- Cooper's shoes?

- a glowing BOB/Laura orb?

- the experiment?

- one of Ben Horne's Civil War uniforms?

possibly just a red herring reference to the alternative international original pilot for the series. they needed an "ending" in some countries in case it didnt get picked up and BOB is in the furnace room.

I like this theory. There is at least the hum. James probably heard it, walked around, felt the creepy, and then left so he could hurry to meet Renee and get beat up by Chuck etc.

I too thought at first that, with the (apparently) confused timelines, the boiler room scene could happen later than the Roadhouse scene. It doesn't work, though, because otherwise James would be already aware of Freddie's superpowers during the conversation at the Great Northern.

Also, James is now in jail, and I have a feeling that the 3 final episodes won't cover more than 24 hours. Even if James is let out early, I can't see him visiting the boiler room twice (I believe he told Freddie he was going to investigate there, right?) Maybe we'll get a flashback of James opening the door and finding the Evolution of Harry Truman into a vintage Twin Peaks High School jacket.
