Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
the one armed man says to cooper: "Is it future or is it past?", "someone is here". And laura enters the room. HERE is what Cooper experiences right now but Laura has aged so she is not the Laura of the past. HERE must be the future then, not the past. The meeting with Laura is a parenthesis, a meeting that occurs in the future, before Cooper starts his journey to our world. Laura says "I am dead yet I live". Dead is the Laura of the past. Living is the Laura of the future. Then Laura is violently vacuumed, leaving the meeting to return where she belongs: to the future. And the one armed man abruptly reappears (as if interrupting the previous scene by bringing cooper's mind to NOW) to repeat: "is it future or is it past?", indicating that what cooper experienced before was a parenthesis from the future. The one armed man's question is the opening and closing bracket of the parenthesis.
A Laura must exist in the future. A living Laura is going to appear in the coming episodes.
I think there is some sound thought going on here. I remember seeing scenes suggesting Laura and Dale standing outside her house which we are yet to see in the season. Of course they could have been scrapped or fabricated.
