Another example of David Lynch being completely crazy! He publicly decries the age of television and the ability to pause, rewind, and otherwise interrupt the viewing experience of cinema. http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/news/david-lynch-how-to-watch-twin-peaks-recommendations/ He recommends total immersion. Then he goes and puts groundbreaking stuff into a two frame window 😀
Reminiscent of fight club. Not exactly groundbreaking.
It means that the jumping man is the phantom inhabiting Sarah Palmer?
The mask looks like those worn by Mrs Tremond's grandson in the second series and also like when Sarah removed her face in this series... what do you think?

Well that pretty much blew my mind.
Something about "Michael" and "Pittsburgh"?
Edit: maybe "Microwave"? Like an echo in there. Damn....

She is occupied (have you forgotten how put down she is?) (-;
Yeah, that's an incredible catch. I rewatched the Jumping Man's appearance a few times in real time, looking for clues, but came up empty. There's no freeze frame option (as far as I know) available when viewing through Roku.

It sounds like Lynch directing the actor. "Back.. back.. back away.. keep going... turn." That's what I hear.
It explains how she can pull her face off now. Does that mean Laura in the waiting room was also a jumping man?
I know Carlton Lee Russell is credited as Jumping Man, but lookie here! Isn't that Sarah Palmer's face? One and the same?
HOLY COW
Before i saw this thread. I went somewhere to use a more powerful computer with better resolution. I examined those frames and never saw Sarah in it. But I guess you are right.
Maybe Jumping Man has no set identity. Maybe It's a rite of passage or something you graduate to.
I wish I had seen this the other night. It was just sitting there for me to not click on as I read forum posts. C'est la vie, I guess. Now the only plan is to talk about it in detail when we do our podcast next week.
So, what is going on here? I was, and remain, fairly confident that we saw Experiment (Model?) inside of Sarah last week.
The Jumping Man's status has always been a bit mysterious. Clearly connected to the Lodge mythology/convenience store, and the electricity motif. Also, the resonance, or similarity with regard to Mrs' Tremond's grandson/Pierre (who some have suggested might have grown up to be Red maybe?)
I am thinking perhaps this figure of the Jumping Man is more like a symbol or conduit; a kind of intermediary through which one might connect up to Lodge forces, or something like that. Or does that sound crazy?
