Ummm, that Jeffries sure can teleport...or is the Giant/??????/Fireman crossing some wires?!
Jeffries is clearly a giant tea kettle now, and if SamXTherapy doesn't make a picture of Bowie with a hand on his hip, singing "I'm a Little Teapot," I don't think I'll ever forgive him.
I wonder what sort of tea is inside. ?
(It does look similar to the other machine though.)
It's a different machine.
Probably from the same maker, though!
(Look behind it.. I'm sure it's written 'Made in France'. That's why it keeps breaking down! Just like that DougieBall SFX!)
Anyway, I haven't found a more suitable topic (I mentioned it elsewhere as well), so: how about the bell is a stupa?
Things like this... Stupa
"Where the Buddha gave his first sermon". I'm not saying Jeffries is Buddha, though 😉
It's a place for *meditation*, usually containing relics. A stupa usually has a pointed tip, but not always, see picture above.

Kind of recalls the receptacle Andy was holding during his vision in the last episode. Stupa, I mean; not the "tea kettle."

Dougie is moving two objects around on the table during his cake-eating scene (prior to the Gordon Cole revelation) that could be interpreted as being similar. Or they could be interpreted as possibly representing "twin peaks".

I interpreted it as a way to keep the two apparently similar objects separated, as if he didn't want to reunite with Mr. C.
I really like René-Gilles' take on the stupa, it feels a lot Lynchian! 🙂
@kdwag68, I noticed that too. Thought something like novelty salt and pepper..?
@Roberto, thanks, I figured I could try and contribute a clue/possible key to the Twin Peaks community for once. 🙂 I thought of stupas right back in Part 3 but it didn't make sense back then so I went for the 'bell' or just 'mysterious machine' approach. With Part 15, I started wondering if those 'bells' could be holding 'relics' of humans who went through the Lodge and stayed there. I don't know. That wouldn't explain the alarm sound in Part 8 though. Maybe it's the Fireman's relics in that bell, and it was his 'body' sounding the alarm to his Lodge self?

we need an option to tag other uses so that way this is called to his much needed attention on the matter!
Jeffries' teapot has 3 long prongs on top.
Ah, to match his third eye, or third leg? 🙂

I wonder if that tea is "smoked." Sarah Palmer needs to keep track of these things.

I think many Buddhist concepts are being floated in the show, the main difference being that they are twisted versions of same. The Buddhist stupa is a more peaceful, holistic concept. Jeffries Stupa is an oblique black pot version whose motives are shrouded in mystery.

I interpreted the movement of the salt/pepper shakers away from each other as also suggestive of the closer Coop is getting to remembering/"returning" to Twin Peaks in reality the further away from each other the Peaks would seem to visually be, relative to the viewpoint of a returning Coop.
I do kinda like the salt/pepper analogy too mentioned previously (re Good Coop/Bad Coop).
Why I love this show: Mr. C says "Jeffries" and I wonder to myself "Yeah... yeah... David Bowie came back as a teapot... makes sense."
