I'm just re-watching Episode 2 and wondered if that comes after this weeks bit? I think we're assuming that as Margaret says 'I'm dying' that it is just before her death - but what if that bit of the conversation is before the part where Hawk is out at Glastonbury Grove?
She tells him to come round as the coffee is on. Perhaps he is with her when she passes (who else would you rather have?) and puts the light out in her cabin - then we see him return to the Sheriff's Office to break the news. That would explain why he hadn't discussed going to GG earlier - because he's only just been there.
Feel free to tell me I've missed the bleeding obvious, 'cos I probably have!
I believe you to be correct. We have many hints that Twin Peaks timeline is distorted. I think you have the correct order insofar as Hawk/Log scenes. Good job !
Well it's possible. But the things she says in pt 15, the way she talks, sound so final. I don't see her making coffee and serving pie that night.

I saw that more as a wish for Hawk to be with her, rather than her 'serving it up'. I don't think she'd admit to feeling scared.
That Glastonbury Grove scene appears to be on another timeline. I'd like to believe that someone was with Margaret when she was dying. Hawk was so quiet when she was on the phone. Maybe he did go to see her. I hope she wasn't alone.

It's a beautiful and wonderful thought.

I don't think it was on another timeline or out of sequence. I think he saw the drapes appear, perhaps something else, and then met Margaret for doughnuts, coffee and one of their talks. That night, she likely told him whatever he needs to know about Laura/the One. We simply didn't see it.
I'm currently thinking there is very little out of sequence. The baseball scene with Sonny Jim being the only one that I am confident is out of sequence.

what makes you think the baseball scene is out of sequence?
what makes you think the baseball scene is out of sequence?
Well, I assumed the pie eating scene with the Mitchums was followed by an unseen night of partying and then the conga line the next morning to Battling Bud. The baseball scene was shown between pie and conga.
BUT, maybe that baseball scene wasn't out of sequence and DougieCoop stopped at home or there were multiple nights with the Mitchums.
Hawk says "Goodnight Margaret", hangs up the phone and then says "Goodbye Margaret" so I think she dies after that call and he goes to tell the others in the conference room.
That doesn't mean to say they won't show Hawk visiting her prior to her death, but I think that is the last we will see of the log lady (rip).
The baseball scene is definitely out of sequence because Janey was mad at him for being out all night again.

She wasn't alone. She had her log with her.

Hi buttercup,
I swear I thought we would see Hawk with one single tear running down his cheek, like that famous public service announcement commercial about pollution from the 1970's:
🙁

I have to say... I've felt the same things about the timeline being out of sequence, etc - I don't think it's going to end up being the case though.
That said, I'm very curious about what's going on with Audrey and I wonder who the dreamer is
The fact is the Glastonbury Grove scene isn't casual as you're slightly suggesting, it is the moment Cooper is supposed to come out off the lodge and Hawk is there to pick him up. But things didn't go this way because of DoppelTree.
So no, i don't think that scene is set in the future.
