Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
I am almost 20% sure that Judy is Major Briggs.
I've always thought that and after tonight I am more convinced than ever. Of course that means Judy is probably a goldfish that was in in the background of some random scene in season 1.
48 55 1 are all the numbers we are shown.

Judy Garland - Garland Briggs, eh I've heard a lot more out there theories

So they were the same exact coordinates that Ruth Davenport had written on her arm? Judy is in Twin Peaks! What?!
Mr. C. was tricked by the phone call into a portal to dump him outside "convenience store."

How the hell did Dick Horne follow/track him there?

I'm trying to find a reference from season 2 about that. Major Garland Briggs, confused after being drugged by Windom Earle, Says «Judy Garland, odd name...» or something of that nature.
Is Naido "Judy?" There are not very many female actresses that were announced originally who have not shown up yet. Francesca Eastwood (who is probably Linda) & Mary Reber (who I believe is the real life owner of the Palmer house). Of course "Judy" doesn't have to be female. Could be Garland Briggs as many have speculated. Or she could be a male actor. Malachy Sreenan tonite played the "Big Bosomed Woman."
When we first saw Garland Briggs in this series, his body was topped with a woman's head. Maybe Judy has something to do with that.
Apparently Mister C has already met Judy?! Or perhaps Dale Cooper has. Was anybody good enough to write down the coordinates of where she can be found?
Eh? Don't think so, since Mr C obviously didn't know who she was. He kept asking "Who's Judy?!"
Doesn't sound like Cooper knows her.
He doesn't realize he knows her is how I interpreted it.
Yes ... that's how I interpreted it too ... he knows Judy but doesn't realize he knows Judy. Maybe she uses/used a different name or he never got her name when he met her .... or it could be goodCoop who has met Judy
Just curious... what about that scene made you interpret it that way?
Also... if Good Coop had met Judy, then Bad Coop has met Judy.
Regardless, maybe I missed something? A line of dialogue from Jeffries?
What confused me is Jeffries/Giant's tower bell thing said something along the lines of, "So you are Cooper." Is he...? My brain was thrown for a moment, thinking maybe that WAS Cooper, and the doppelgänger all along has been Dougie/Cooper. It couldn't have been "bad" Cooper in the FBI office in 1989 (that was directly pre-Laura Palmer murder). And I understand that "Mr. C." has absorbed memories, blah blah blah, if he ISN'T the real Cooper...but I think to the finale of Season 2, where Cooper/Bob laughed manically in the mirror. This is the antithesis of what Mr. C. is, today - so stoic, so evolved. I dunno....

Found it. I posted this not to long ago:
In season 2, episode 21 (Miss Twin Peaks) Major Briggs escapes Windom Earle and is found by Hawk. He is brought to the police station. Cooper ask Briggs «Garland, did Windom Earle do this to you» Confused ans still under the influence, Briggs answeres «Garland? Odd name... Judy Garland?»

Nice!
You have it right. It was an offhand remark he made subsequent to his capture by Windom Earle.
I do believe this is why Evil Cooper is puzzled. It is someone he has met before, but he doesn't know this person as Judy. It's not really that out there ...in his line of work, it makes sense for Briggs to use a code name.

Just realized it was in response to one of your posts. 😉
So, if the coordinates were where Mr. C. could find Judy, it COULD be Naido because she is in the jail cell in Twin Peaks.
