Whenever I watch Naido try to communicate, it reminds me of dreams (sometimes nightmares) I would have where i just couldn't get the words out. Kinda like when you're trying to run in a dream and you cant get your feet to move. Especially in the tower scene where she tries to communicate with Cooper, its like she's so close to getting the words out, but just can't get them to form. I totally get an eerie feeling whenever she's on screen
Warning: don't Google "caul" images before lunch. Yuck.
Very cool point though.
Also regarding "house door"--these combinations seem weird or far-fetched but not really when you consider the mythology of TP. Remember, "It's in the house"--who said that, was it Sarah?--is a key idea. There are doors in homes to other dimensions and that's where it all seems to begin. All the trouble.
The Fireman said that to Cooper, way back in Episode 1.
@MrJackpots, quite likely.
@cyndee, I never 'got' the monkey thing... Are we sure it's saying Judy? It is, according to the subtitles in my version, but it could be mouthing anything for all I know...
(Trying to find a translation for Judy to Japanese but it really means 'Woman from Judea' according to Wikipedia, so that wouldn't give anything in kanji.)
I didn't make the link between the monkey mouthing 'Judy' (who supposedly is Josie's unofficial sister) and Naido mouthing monkey screams. That's really interesting. I don't know if it means anything, but it's a clue to keep in mind.
Re: it is in the house now, that's why I made the quote at the end of my first post 😉 I've seen all kinds of meanings attached to it, including the Zodiac house thing, but I was trying to see if maybe 'house' could be a synonym for 'white lodge' or just 'lodge', with Naido acting as a spiritual guardian to it.
Gosh, there's like a 0.5% chance ANY of this will make it into the final exposition, but who cares... Trying to extrapolate TP theories is 90% of the fun of watching that show!

Wasn't it, like, literally, the first sentence said in the episode? At least the second one.
PS: does anyone know how to disable the WYSIWYG editor..? I absolutely hate those things... I like viewing my posts in BBCode.
Um no. The monkey doesn't say Judy. Philip Jeffries repeatedly refers to Judy in Fire Walk With Me, and in The Missing Pieces, as in "I'm not going to talk about Judy." In FWWM, after he says this we see the superimposition of a chattering monkey. I think Naido sounds like a monkey, in any case.
(Update: I watched the scene, below, again and there is an awful lot going on in that sequence. The monkey appears about 3 and some seconds in and it's not as obvious as I remember. There might have been another take somewhere that had the monkey chattering more?)
I'd have to check but I remember reading the closed captions and they said Judy when the monkey was mouthing with no voice coming out.
Oh ok--I didn't catch that! Wow.
It's just one of those weird things that make for a lively conversation around the dinner table eh!
cyndeewillow - The scene in which the monkey murmurs Judy is right at the end of FWWM. I listened through headphones and can confirm.
You've probably seen this. I have not seen the Missing Pieces or read the Secret History yet, sorry--but I think I am going to hit that next.
In the meanwhile this video sums up some of the major points about Judy/Josie and the monkey and Jeffries. Apologies if this is old news to most of you! Maybe Naido is possessed by the monkey or vice versa!

Bit rambling but interesting enough

Yes, I tried as well, I had to set my speaker to the max, and could hear a faint 'Judy' coming out of what sounded like a human voice. (Bowie's?)
Why the f*** are they putting her in a cell with two idiots and not in the hospital or at least somewhere a little more guarded?

Because Andy was told or intuitively knows what to do with her. She is likely in the prison to interact with the drunk monkey man, Sarah Palmer who may be on her way, or some other encounter that will happen at the jail.
Andy is following orders and the others aren't arguing with him.
