Is Billy in jail?

Could Billy be in jail with Chad and the recently arrived lady?  The other guy was bleeding from his mouth and nose (Tina referenced Roadhouse scene) and could explain why he's been missing for a couple days.

I kind of hope not, but was curious if anyone else had thought of this possibility?

It just struck me that Billy might be the dude Andy confronted at the trailer park with the kid killing truck.

He was so scared that he would be seen with Andy.

Wanted to meet Andy at 4:30. The time the giant mentions.

Remember the scene  shows the empty trailer with door swinging.

Then Andy waiting at Sparkwood and 21.

Come one I know we can piece this together!!

There may very well be a reason that the eyeless woman, Naido, is in the same room, and in earshot, of the bleeding man. Does Naido carry Cooper's memories? Is she essential to restoring Dougie? And, since she is in the same jail as Bloody Billy(?)… could Billy become a conduit for who Cooper once was? In terms of writing and revisiting character dynamics, it would be interesting if Audrey took Billy as a lover because he is connected to Cooper in some way.

Lastly, following this line of thinking, it would also be funny if the mind of the Cooper we know and love ended up in someone else's body.

I believe that when Cooper entered the Mauve Room it was Oct 1 (per the American Girl's watch). When he came back to our dimension, he went back in time. Thus, Cooper's consciousness may have been left in that room. So maybe Naido is key to giving it back to its rightful owner.

Also, maybe she has Cooper's shoes somehow!

I'd hate to think where she might have put them!

This brings up so much; however, that drunk in jail is almost definitely not the Billy in question. That guy is not bleeding from the nose and mouth. The junk dripping from his mouth is brown, and nothing is running from his nose.

Seriously, no pockets in her arrival wear.

When Dale emerged back in our dimension, he could not communicate, his memory was gone. Although it is hard to tell because her eyes are not visible, Naido seems to be exhibiting the exact same habits and abilities—her clicking and noise making seems to resemble what she made in the Black Box/Mauve Zone dimension. This kinda eliminates a theory posted elsewhere that traveling from the Lodges makes people forget or unable to behave "normally" as themselves.

Here's my stab at it. What if the half dead dude leaking his brains out in the jail cell is the same "jobsworth" from London that the kid with the Green Glove cracked? He could be a lodge entity with no identity who came to follow the Green Glove. Remember he really didn't want that Green Glove sold.

Oh hey, there's an interesting idea.  Why not?

I really don't think that is Billy in jail.  I'm really not entirely sure about the full "reality" of that guy at all since Andy doesn't seem at all interested in the man's well being (as discussed at length in another thread).

Nah, he's real. Chad addresses him, and Chad doesn't strike me as someone very in tune with the extra dimensional.

Maybe he's an entity that only douche-bags can see.

haha

Wonder whether Naido can hear him mimicking her. What's strange is we really don't have much understanding for what Naido represents. My impression was the drunk was a common sight there; maybe he's the town drunk and shows up regularly in the jail there. Andy wouldn't have paid much attention to him in that case.

Yeah but that whole oozing and leaking nastiness makes him not entiely appropriate for sitting it a cell unattended.

That seems true, although, and this has for sure been said before, is the jail cell the best place to keep Naido safe? And, since we're being logical, wouldn't they have taken her to the hospital to see about her eyes and to test for exposure to the elements after surviving naked in the woods for an unspecified amount of time?

That's a very good point.
