Someone posted screen caps in another thread comparing Cole's sketch and the neon Elk's sign. They are eerily similar. Even though the bar sign doesn't have a hand like Cole'd drawing, well... we do see an important hand inside the bar!

Elsewhere folks have commented that the hand in the drawing evokes Bob's hand coming out of the red curtain, which rather supports the idea that Bob may have moved on to Sarah after being extracted from Mr C, given the elk link between the drawing and the bar.

I'm not sure that I believe it but it's a possibility.
