ive been pretty hard on lynch this season. My biggest gripe was the pace of the scenes. I've also said that I hoped for the season to work like a roller coaster. First third slow going up the hill, middle third leveling off, and the last third going downhill with speed and giving us answers, and concern that the downhill wouldnt happen based off what weve seen.
Well tonight's episode gave me a ton of hope. Mr C got the coordinates, we found out who hired ray, dougie is showing hope of coming back (barely, but the pie gives us hope), doc meeting up With nadine, a look into Sarah's house...... And best of all the pacing was more "normal".
Tonight's episode rejuvenated my hope for this season.
But then James sang.
I don't know why the end of my post formatted like that.
Also, I watched Mulholland drive tonight.
I see the tie ins lynch is doing. On one hand, it's interesting. On the other, I don't like it. Leave twin peaks in twin peaks, don't make people see an entire filmography to understand the show.
But then James sang.
James sining was a glorious moment, I yelled out loud. So perfect, and such a taking-of-the-piss on us. Hilarious.
