We obviously know that Colonel Briggs is dead. However, how Mr C. keeps talking, it doesn't seem like he knows this? All that the purposed Phillip Jefferies said over the radio in the hotel was you visited Colonel Briggs didn't you? This keeps bugging me, especially after Bobby found some more of his dads stuff. Not sure if anyone else is thinking about this?

Did Major Briggs get promoted to Colonel while I was gone?

Maybe Major Briggs is still alive (in a way) in one of the lodges?

Coop saw his head go by with the message "blue rose" when he was in limbo.

That's a great question daveram.  I'm stumped.  Cooper's dopperlganger should know that Briggs is dead, but it does sound like he believes that Briggs can be communicated with in some form.

Who killed Ruth Davenport??

Was not-Jeffries' mention of Mr C meeting Briggs in reference to their meeting 25 years ago, or more recently?

If the coordinates the Mr C wanted/got from Ray were the same as those on Ruth's body, or if they were to the portal Hastings took the FBI too (my money being on the former, btw), then he didn't kill Ruth/wasn't there for those events. He could have visited Briggs there where he was hibernating at some point, but to what end?

I think we may well see Garland's head again; that it left this dimension, though the body was left behind. In which case, is he dead?

I love the extent to which they have managed to make this series center around Briggs and Jeffries - I always thought the continuation of the story would/it always did in my imagination - even though Don Davis and David Bowie are no longer with us. Really impressive, and I think kind of a great tribute.

It is a great tribute. It's interesting though, because it's come at a time when using the likeness of a deceased for TV / film has been frowned at (I'm talking Rogue One a la Carrie Fisher and Peter Cushing).

It's made me wonder if Lynch/Frost had to get permission from Silva's family to use BOB (I'm sure they would have out of respect). And what limitations were given for his use and possibly other characters, such as Briggs.

They found Major Briggs' body, but not his head. Dale saw Garland's head floating through the sky in that other place (that may be the White Lodge). The principal said he watched the Major's head come right off his body. Dale heard the head say "blue rose."

I think Major Briggs lives on in head-only form in the white lodge.

I don't know, but what we have seen seems to be from footage they already had. I think that's a little different than the Star Wars example. If they had a CGI'd David Bowie running around I am sure people would object.

Laura Palmer: "I am dead, yet I live."

I agree that Jeffries (or whoever Mr C was really talking to), was referring to that early meeting before Mr C left Twin Peaks. That having been said, I am surprised Jeffries was just learning this. Just what-all do those two communicate about?

Also, I am surprised, that with all his clairvoyance and advanced hacking skills, Mr C needs a couple of amateurs to find any coordinates for him. It can be argued that he had to take the lead from Briggs to know what to look for. But still, Mr C seems to be quite in the dark on many matters. He figures it out as he goes, and may not be all that clear himself about where it is leading him.

Ray mentioned getting coordinates from Hastings' secretary "Betty." That's not Ruth, but it gave me the idea that maybe Mister C had sent Ray to kill Ruth?? Maybe Mister C only ordered others to put together Ruth's head and Maj Briggs' body?..... Then again, Mister C did murder that wife in the beginning, so he's not above making hits himself.

Totally. But, didn't Ray say "you think the coordinates THEY'RE giving you are legit?" or something along those lines? That gave me the idea that Mister C was just using him as a go-between, but whoever "they" is knew about Mister C and intended to pass info to him through Ray; I mean, Mister C wasn't using Ray as an undercover agent, but just as an aide... hmm... hmmm....

Maybe: Jeffries is working from within the Red Room or some other realm (The Dutchmans?), and he's working for good. And maybe Mister C thinks he has fooled Jeffries into believing that he too is working for good and should thus be privy to prime info about how to get whatever it is he's after (the thing on the card that appears on Hawk's map (and looks like the owl ring symbol but w circle instead of diamond, to my eyes at least)). But now since that phone call, and with the words from Ray, Mister C is learning he's not really in contact with Jeffries, and info he thinks he's getting from a grade-A source is false.

Thats a big fat maybe all around. And if all goes like FWWM, we'll never get ANY answers!

My biggest question at the moment is where the coordinates actually point to. Is it twin peaks? If so, it's a bit daft that Mr C had to go on a huge witch hunt just to discover something that he probably already knew.

I wonder if the coordinates fluctuate from time to time, and this is the latest position of whatever "it" is that Mr C needs.

I also get the impression that Mr C has not returned to the lodge since his creation. I wonder what impact that has on someone who was created in the lodge. Does it mess with your memory? I don't know...

These are all very interesting questions and we still not have answers for any of them.

Who's this secretary Betty mentioned too many times as for not being major player? Who will not give coordinates to Mr C. Why? Does she know him? I had this crazy idea that she might be some Laura's doppelganger but when she died in car explosion I'm not so sure...

Who actually killed Major and Ruth and put their bodies in this very specific manner? From where Mr C retrieved Ray and Darya? That was some strange place...

And the most important for me: why does Mr C hire all these people to kill Dougie/Coop? Who fail and fail again? Why can't he do it himself? I think good Cooper is the only person Doppelganger is really afraid of.

Totally agree, was thinking the same for a very long time.

That could be some cheap trick for many B class movies but definetely not for David Lynch.
