I’m not sure if anyone else has already brought this theory up here, but here it goes: what if the narrative structure of those random characters and disjointed dialogues which we’ve been seeing a lot at the Roadhouse somehow mirrors the main plot of the series? I mean, just like Invitation to Love, huh?
Do you guys think that's a bit of stretch? Nay?

I agree that they mirror, the same form is applied to different sets of characters, showing that there is more to the clues than identifying individual characters, or individualizing guilt; so that eliminating one bad guy, or 'tracking devices' cannot solve the problem etc..
The 'dating group' at the end of last episode were basically formed in the exact same way as the new characters that Audrey was talking about: (Trick=Charlie; girl off of her meds about to go mad from dating=Audrey; Clark=Billy; Chuck=Richard=guy running Trick off the road)
The two drug/prostitutes = Ronette and Laura
Also, that table seems to be the same one where James convinced a crying Donna to continue their affair that was using Laura's memory as its 'lifesblood', even though they were getting people killed and failing to solve the 'Laura problem'.....James really didnt care one bit about any of it, just saying, im hurt, hurt by my parents, everyone is hurt, doesnt matter about what we did then, etc....sort of like persisting in the activity and ignoring the consequences... just like the examples above
I really like that analysis. I don't think it's a huge stretch at all. 🙂
Honestly, I never paid much attention to the Invitation to Love bits. Could never understand their purpose. But it would make total sense to replace it with something like the small town drama and weird random characters.
Did anyone else think that "Ella" (the girl with a rash) might be a nickname for Angela? And the two girls were talking about the Zebra being "out" which some speculated meant someone being out of jail. Well, now we learn that Trick is out of house arrest. And apparently the one of the girls in the latest Roadhouse scene has a penguin pattern on her blouse. (I didn't see that for myself though, someone else mentioned it).

Ange or Angie are the usual short versions of Angela. I used to be married to an Angela, so I have some prior knowledge.
Names that end in "...ella" with 2 ls (Mariella etc) are the usual choice for Ella, and it's also a name in its own right.
I know it's a name in its own right as well, so yes, a stretch probably 🙂
Some have speculated though, that Ella is Linda ("L" for short -> "Elle" -> "Ella"), so why not get creative? 🙂 Anyway, maybe I'm used to people being creative with nicknames since my friends called me variations of my name as nicknames, but I have never ever been called the usual most common short version.
But anyway I'm probably wrong on Angela tho.
You mean, nobody calls you "Meax"? 😉

It's true! Unbelievable, right?? 😉
