I'm thinking about one of the crucial scenes of The Return: Laura Palmer mantaining her promise to Cooper and meeting him 25 years later. She's opening her face showing what i think is pure light of good spirit. And then the words she whispers in Cooper ear. Something clicked in my head and just sounds beautifully designed.
What if Laura has whispered something like "I'm going to be INSIDE YOU" ? What if Leland telling Cooper To "Find Laura" leads to him finding her inside himself? Yes what I'm suggesting is that Laura is Dougie Jones right now.
I just see a perfect circle if I think about it, Bob being inside BadCoop and Laura being inside GoodCop.
A crazy one maybe, but so powerful.
Agent Cooper groaned over what Laura said to him. He didn't usually react very strongly to anything said to him in the lodge setting. It seems like he was not only startled, but also unhappy with what he heard.

That's right. She could be whispering he has to kill his shadow-self. I wouldn't react so cool to that one i guess!
Well if the mirroring that is a popular theme of the rooms and entities in it continues she whispered "My father killed me." originally
S2 Ep is when she said this.
The mirror of this "I will kill my mother."
Maybe Sarah does hold the physical biological key that draws things through TP and she will have to be killed before she passes it on. Or to stop things from getting worse.
I just thought the original idea of this post can be related to Laura saying 'I feel like i know HIM' to Cooper (i opened a thread about it in part 1 section). Despite of subtitles, i trust my ears more.
I am not sure something about the sound and voice of Laura and Cooper's constant are you Laura Palmer made me think she was not pure or good. The feeling I get from the show is that pure good isn't really a thing anymore it is all corrupted. The show is giving me little hope of a happy ending.
That said I am enjoying it and enjoying reflecting on concepts of good and evil, hero and antihero, my expectations and my projection of self in trying to understand it.
