Hmm.. not sure where you got that from, I don't recall Laura Palmer ever saying that it won't be her.. the arm said that about himself. Laura said I'll see you in 25 years.. Can someone enlighten me as to when Laura said that it won't be her?

One of the girls pours drinks, such as coffee. Candie now serves cherry pie. The third has yet to show her hand, I don't believe. Between the three of them, perhaps Cooper shall awaken?

One pours coffee.

Candie serves cherry pie.

Donuts completes the trilogy and wakes Coop?

Donuts!  I've been wracking my brain to think of what the third thing may be.

Maybe when he goes back in the police station after the Fuscos have his print results?

(As Gordon Cole said about donuts and coffee " ah, the policeman's dream")

I think you are correct.  It's TMFAP that says that. I was thinking it was Laura as well, but I can't find anything quoting her as saying that. Maybe I'm missing something.

yes, the arm said it at the end of Season 2.  I don't know what he meant at the time, but the meaning applied in season 3 is a no-brainer. He becomes an electronic tree-like thing. Laura hasn't had that many lines, and I don't recall her saying that. If she never said it, it  kinda takes the wind out of the sails, in using that line to think she will appear as someone else.

I used to think that "The Return" was a double meaning for a return to the show, and Cooper's return to Twin Peaks. Now I'm thinking it might refer to the Return of Laura Palmer.

This. Laura only says that she's dead yet she lives.

Well folks, thanks for straightening me out on this. Obviously I was in desperate need of coffee. Or I was suffering a hangover from a night at the Roadhouse that featured Snake Eyes and Sparkle. Either way, I'm excited the next chapter is only hours away.
