Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
I noticed that the song "Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima" was listed in the credits tonight. This is the same song that was played during Episode 8 while the nuclear bomb was exploding. I'm not sure where it was located in the episode. Originally I thought it was in Gordon's scene with him almost disappearing, but I don't think that's it. Checking back it sounds like the background music for the scene where Becky freaks out, calls Shelly, and steals her car with her on the hood. If so, that's a pretty heavy song to play unless it's trying to tell us something about Becky.
I may have missed the song completely, which would render this a moot point. 🙂
I noticed that in the credits too. Need to check to see again. I didn't hear it playing but it could have been masked by having the speed changed like some of the other tracks this season?
I also think it's the scene where Becky drives off with Shelly's car. A bit slowed down maybe.
Good catch. I saw that as well, couldn't place when it was and just assumed it was some part of what the piano man was playing in the lounge (that Cooper seemed to react to).
That entire scene with Becky going nuts had an ominous feeling to it.
It's being played by the car horns outside the diner.

Wow, really?
Was piano man Angelo Badalementi?
Was piano man Angelo Badalementi?
No. That would've been great though.
They play it very briefly and at a much lower volume than ep 8 during the Becky/Shelley car scene.
