I was thinking more about the Giant's message "Richard and Linda, two birds one stone," and it was leading me to an idea I wanted to share.

Initially I was postulating that Richard was Richard Horne, who is presumably evil Cooper's baby with Audrey Horne, and Linda would possibly be introduced yet as another child of evil Cooper's, probably with Annie. Thus, the two birds would be Cooper's children and the stone Cooper. Perhaps Cooper would need to kill the two birds?

An alternate idea that just came to me while dreaming is based on the idea that I have read that the Richard Horne scenes we have seen are happening a little over a week in the future (based on the date on Deputy Andy's Rolex vs. the dates our sheriff-station heroes need to be at Jack Rabbit's Palace). It also follows the line of thinking that, while Richard is Richard Horne, Linda is the off-screen character in the trailer park in need of a new wheelchair.

Anyhow, my new notion is that Cooper will perhaps save the child that Richard hits with the car before he gets hit, probably resulting in the death of bird one, Richard... who maybe in a moment of humanity swerves to his own doom. This makes it also so he never attacks his own Grandmother and causes Ben Horne to wander off the straight and narrow path. Maybe this stops the humming in The Great Northern?

Somehow, in the aftermath of the accident, perhaps bird two Linda's problem is also helped. Maybe Carl Rodd somehow ends up with a wheelchair to bring her? I don't know.

What I do know is Twin Peaks can lead to weird, restless sleep. This makes the third time I have posted ideas I have dreamt to this forum after waking up with them in the middle of the night. Thank you for bearing with me.

If it plays out that way, then the attack on Miriam never happened as well and we've yet to see how that arc is going to unfold. Meaning, Richard dying at the point in time you suggest could have even greater ramifications than Ben deciding not to have an affair (without even mentioning the numerous acts of violence that Richard will inevitably commit).

I agree with an overall point that I see: it might be wise to refrain from interpreting the first word in the phrase "[kill] two birds [with] one stone" literally.

The only definitive connection we've had to "stone" all season was Gordon talking about Mt. Rushmore.

"There they are, Albert. Faces in stone."

"Two birds, one stone" is also, most likely, a reference to two Coopers made from one man, of course.

If we riff on the idea that a doppleganger help father two children could those two children become good vehicles for future entities. So when the portal opens Bob like things have instant hosts.

I really think when you connect the timeline that is 10/2 and on; Twin Peaks goes crazy after the date the portal is to open.

Here's my guess on the 'two birds, one stone' thing:  The two birds are Mr. C. and Dougie (the original Dougie, not Coop as Dougie). 'One stone' is the green stone in the owl ring which serves as a marker for recall to the lodge. I think Dougie was manufactured for the purpose of wearing the ring to be recalled to the lodge when the time came, leaving Mr. C. free to roam the earth.

Too early to tell on that or 4-3-0 for me although Richard is more than likely R. Horne (really wanted it to be R & L Thompson tho').

Here's the shot of Andy's watch...Part 7 App. 31 minutes in.....I can't make out if the "10" refers to October or the tenth day of a particular month...

I've never seen a watch where the number like that represents anything other than the day. It's the 10th of something on that watch. That doesn't mean the date is correct, however; this is Andy we're talking about, after all, and he may simply not know how to set the date. Is it a clue or is it a red herring? We'll find out eventually. . . maybe.
