Now, all of a sudden, it seems like they haven't spoken to eachother since she called him about the message from the log. Am I right? What is going on there with the jumping back and forth in time? It's a little confusing.
Yeah, that call was strange. It really did feel like they hadn't spoken last episode.
Just like in FWWM, time is being twisted and manipulated, it is going to be interesting to see what is causing that to happen. Is it the Experiment, or the Lodges themselves, or something else? And for what purpose?
7 episodes left...how Lynch and Frost are going to wrap this up is (if they do) is going to be both wonderful and strange.
And why is she repeating herself?
I think this scene was meant for an earlier episode, as Hawk is still saying that 10/1 is "the day after tomorrow."
Clearly things are not progressing in exact chronological sync, but I also don't think there's anything supernatural going on. I think Lynch just assembles things the way he feels works best. It's like in Episode 2 of the original series, when Pete and Catherine are talking about Agent Cooper's visit as if it had been that morning, even though it was the day before. The scene got shuffled from the scripted position.
And why is she repeating herself?
The second time Margaret asks Hawk if he hears her, it's not the same line delivery. The second time she seems to be saying, "No, Hawk, I'm not simply asking if you can literally hear me over the phone - I'm making sure you understand that when I call, it's always important."
P.S.-- I really like your profile picture, Isabella---
