What the blinking flip are we all going to do when the series ends?

I believe, that this is not everything. That there will be some big announcement around 1st of October.
Maybe 4 season. Maybe feature film. Maybe a Jade spin-off.

Wu-Tang Clan recently recorded an album and release it in a single copy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Once_Upon_a_Time_in_Shaolin , which someone bought for 2 million $. Owner can't use it for commercial purposes until 2103.
Now imagine Lynch/Frost going the same route with the last two episodes of Season 3. They can just sell them to someone - for I'am sure a lot more than 2 million - and oblige him to release it only after 25 years.

Much as I love Twin Peaks I don't want to see it turn into just another weird potboiler. I hope the team have the good sense to finish before it becomes a self-parody.
I guess the forum can and will survive on its own momentum and the fact there's so much material to delve into, even if there won't be a further series or two down the road.
People could always spend the next 25 years trying to solve "the congressman's dilemma." 😀

Is this based on hard fact or just speculation?
I had a similar thought the other day. But then I realised, the ending will probably be so open to interpretation and obscure, that it will cause months upon months if speculation! Then there'll be mark frost's follow up to Secret History, which well discuss and analyse, which will make us question stuff that happened in series 3, then who knows. Maybe a series 4!

I read somewhere that Lynch loves reading all the theories out there. He and his partner, Mary Stofle, (Ruth Davenport) hopefully with all her body parts where they should be must have a few laughs at our expense. 🙂
As an aside, I wonder how he introduced her to the part. 'So, Mary, I got this great part for you in the new Twin Peaks. You're a librarian at a school, and you're having an affair with the principal.' ROFL...
