It just struck me that the upcoming book title suggest that concerns Twin Peaks was all just a dream, does not add up.  Why tell us it's all a dream, then give us a book that focuses on a story line that was all irrelevant?  I think the upcoming book should give some of our more upset followers some hope.

Kinda hate to say this, but: $$$.

I will probably just wait for Pete Peppers to summarize it at some point on youtube. He's very thorough. I like his POV.

Agree & from what I understand, The Final Dossier tells us what happened to key characters in the last  twenty-five years. The novel should also add context and commentary on happenings of the new series.

That should definitely help to better understand what we just saw 😉

I think it depends on what one "hopes" for. IF "answers" or "comfort" are what one hopes for, this world will always disappoint, I think that if what one hopes for are glimpses into the depths, you bet. I pre-ordered, and will be glad to see it arrive!

I do not accept the premise that "it's all a dream, and none of it matters, and it was all irrelevant". I don't think that was the point of 17/18 at all!

From hope I was referring to the belief that Twin Peaks was nothing more than a dream up until the final episode of season 3 or between season 3 episodes 1-17.

Well, that's exciting! And (if real), sorta clarifies Frost's twitter post, "all will be revealed in time."

I'm wondering how "graphic" it will be....like lots of pics, drawings, etc....not how sexually graphic.  Cuz I can order if for my kindle and read while traveling.  But the Kindle's kinda suck for pics and stuff like that.  I read a book once where the story-line was very dependent on the hand written notes that were left.  But it was almost impossible to read the hand written notes on the Kindle.  Drove me NUTS! I don't think I could bear it if that were the case with the Dossier. Any insider information that might help me decide?

Anyone know anything?

I don't know anything about the book's text/image ratio, but I assure you, it was not JUST all a dream. If everything was a dream, then so what. Dali's art mattered to us; so does every bit of Twin Peaks.

It would be pretty strange to have a book about the dream of a guy who doesn't really exist.  🙂
