An interesting read on his thinking behind the book.
Thanks for sharing. Bookmarked to read later (soon).

Hi Chris,
I found this part interesting (and just a tiny bit hopeful - although in my opinion Twins Peaks is truly over.):
You put “final” in the title of “The Final Dossier.” Is this final-final, as far as you’re concerned? Do you feel like the series and the book provide a place where the story should end, or would you like to revisit it?
I don’t know. I mean, I didn’t know 25 years ago, or however many it is now, whether I’d ever want to revisit it then. So, I think what I’ve learned is, leave the door open, and see where you end up. And that’s what I plan to do now.
😉

Excellent article.
Here's an interview w/Mark Frost on the Twin Peaks Unwrapped podcast:

Thanks for posting! I've much enjoyed reading Frost's interviews in the wake of the Final Dossier. He seems genuinely proud of what's been created and quite right too.
On a side note, his comments in this interview about the second season I found intriguing if a little disconcerting - what exactly happened that hasn't been said before?

Hi Chris,
In a nutshell, Lynch thought ABC ruined Season Two. >:-(
Here's a good summary from Vanity Fair:

Thanks for that Ric. I can understand Mr Lynch's point of view certainly.
It is a bit disappointing to read that he's only really proud of the pilot, though. The whole first season is consistently excellent. And I'd add everything up until Leiland's reveal in fact, as well as the season two finale. But creator's perogative, I guess ?
