I love Mr. Robot almost as much as TP, although it doesn't compel rewatches the way TP does. Nothing does. Season 3 episode 2 of Mr. Robot was pretty much a perfect episode (just aired this week). Like TP, you need to watch prior season to make sense of the story.

I have the 2 episodes of this season DVR'ed but the other person in the household is dragging their feet in regards to watching. I might just have to watch them without him.
Finally started watching Mr. Robot but I need to go back and watch the first 2 seasons again (like another show we all know).
I'm still watching with my Lynch goggles on, waiting for something to happen that probably won't, reading far too much into every little thing, pointing out scenes that Lynch/Frost would have done differently, listening too hard to every sound, expecting credits at the end that will provide valuable or at least misleading clues.
I can't seem to shake it.
Also on Netflix, Stranger Things. Season one was good, and the season two trailer just dropped and it looks incredible.
Stranger Things is terrific. Looking forward to season 2 as well.

Maybe I'll ask for the first season of Stranger Things for Christmas. Or maybe I'll ask for Netflix. Cuz that's just what I need, more television to watch. 🙂
There's a lot of mystery in season one of Mr. Robot (if you can avoid the spoilers online). Believe it or not, the most Lynchlike thing I have seen is not on TV, but the Poppy videos. Titantic Sinclair is a young director who seems to want to be a combination of Andy Warhol and David Lynch. He created the Poppy project, with a girl who sings (pretty well actually, she has a record deal) and makes bizarre videos that get people all involved. There is even an alternative reality game associated with it, with people trying to find out all kinds of clues about her. One of my students did a paper about her, and now I'm watching these videos like the kids, trying to figure out what's going on.

Very interesting. Do I just google "Poppy Project?"
Side note, since I'm the OP of this thread, is it bad that the joy of my life these days is thwarting spammers?
This is a bit of an intro to the Poppy, with a few videos.
I still can't watch any new television. I gave Mr Robot a try but the timing isn't right. I can tell it's something that I'll dig eventually, but not until after investigating the Final Dossier and doing a full sequential rewatch of TPTR afterward.

Probably more entertaining than most television.
Is anyone else watching "Dark" on Netflix?

Yes! Finished it on Friday and loved every minute of it. The Stranger Things comparisons I've seen made are at best superficial. More like the original danish Killing meets The Return - at least, it certainly shares some themes with The Return which make it an unexpected companion piece. There's a nice article about it on the 25 years later site.
Television watching has no future for me, except maybe Doctor Who. I have a soft spot for the show and have watched it since it first began, 50 odd years back.
Nothing else interests me enough to invest time in sitting, doing nowt else. The odd movie, maybe, but not a telly show.
You did say a while ago that you might check out Mr. Robot.
