Does anyone think there is any link or similarities with nadine and her super strength in the original. Compared with Freddie, James co worker and his "iron fist"
I never thought about that possibility. I like the idea, because both involve mysterious super powers. I wish they had involved Nadine & Dr. Jacoby and their golden shovels to help take down Bob.
I always believed Nadine's strength was due to her - at the time - total lack of inhibition, in the same way that a child will go hell for leather, with no restraint. If you've ever been hit by a little one in full on tantrum mode, you'll know what I mean. Now, scale that kind of power up to adult size and there's some force there.

This is a good point. Did she ever use the strength for anything other than wrestling people? I don't remember her doing anything that I'd consider connected to the supernatural. Am I forgetting something?
She beat up Hank.
Doc Hayward explained it as her adrenal gland being in overdrive, or something like that. Like these stories you hear of people lifting cars powered by adrenaline, etc. So, we are at least offered a natural, as opposed to supernatural explanation.
She bent the metal bar on her rowing machine when she was mad at Ed, pre-accident.
