If you go to the hostel in San Cristóbal de las Casas in Chiápas, be sure to say that you're from Gringolandia instead of the US (wait, are you from the US ? I have no idea where you're from...). He'll just fight with you about his country being a united states too, and of course 'America' doesn't work for him either. But this way he'll be your friend and get drunk with you and introduce you to girls and score you some weed. Or as little or as much of that as you're up for.
