Aw Jeez Brandy, I like talking to y'all. I just don't happen to like my own theory. Mainly because Charlie doesn't act like a director.
I was only referring to this thread/idea. Not intended as an ostricization or to call you out.
I like Charlie. I just don't understand him. Probably never will.
As for Mynoks brilliant idea, I think it's less about Charlie or Audrey and more about all those random side characters. I'm of the idea right now that the whole scene with Charlie on the phone was just another way to tie a few things together. Maybe nothing will come of it and it will be pointless. But I think it's a great hypothesis to at least work on. 🙂
The Roadhouse as a location was something I initially took as another setting, although now I think there may be more to it. The fact that these side characters were only discussed at the Roadhouse, and at Audrey & Charlie's home makes Mynok's idea intriguing to me. I'm ready to dive back in. I can't begin till later this week, but I'm going for it. I'm going to geek out by taking some notes.

Yeah geek out!
I'm trying to make some time but this week is a little nuts for me. I really want to start with part 2 ending, first scene at he roadhouse. It was Shelley, Renee and two others. Who were they?
But...if Billy is living only in a dream ?
We've talked about this theory many times.
Take a look here :

If you don't want to play, you don't have to. 🙂
Many of us are not sold on the whole "it's all a dream theory." And this gives us something to chew on.
Mynok, we should put together a comprehensive list of all the Roadhouse characters and other peripheral type characters that may be related, i.e. the "farmer" who got his truck stolen and never met up with Andy.
Hey Brandy,
I spent time on the family tree yesterday, and to me now it's clear that we will have to extend beyond family to solve the mystery. So I will need to put together an in depth flow chart of all the connections.
I know of a few funky tools to make it look pretty so i will try and do this ASAP! I'm snowed under at work and private life so it may take a few days but it is very high on my agenda! 😀
Yes. You must be impressed when there's a flowchart! Thanks Mynok!
Yeah geek out!

On the left, the woman with the glass is credited as Hannah.
The other one is not credited.
But, regardless of whether you are going all the way with me on that kind of reading, perhaps there might be something in the relations of the actors, or David Lynch in real life that might provide some insight into our questions about Billy, the uncle, etc. Or perhaps not. I haven't found anything yet, really. The best I've got is to joke that it's Billy Zane 🙂
While filming season 2 in 1990, Sherilyn Fenn was really dating a Billy 😉 :
Oopsie daisies, double post
Ok,
Here's the work in progress relationship chart. Disclaimer - I'm not very good at making things look pretty, so please bear with me as I continually tidy it up!
Tina's family/influence is in pink, and there's a lot going on there. I still want to know who the uncle is as I feel that might be key.
I'm now toying with the idea that the order of events is very important and may uncover an anomaly which may help identify other key persons that need to be included in the chart. If anyone disagrees with my proposed ordering, please let me know 🙂
Together, we'll solve it!
I am certain I've missed out A LOT! So do please let me know what you want added 🙂
Something that sticks out as a major clue IMO is a that Tina was the last person to see Billy.
I'm now wondering if an order of events flow chart would be more beneficial, rather than a relationship based one.
Yes, I'm aware that I'm obsessed. :/
Love the Billy Idol connection. Thanks!
In terms of the flow chart, Megan also indicates that Tina was sleeping with Billy. Charlie says Tina won't be able to talk if her husband is home, so the husband would be another ????
If Chuck is the uncle, and was there, that would explain how he could tell Audrey that Tina was the last person to see Billy. But then why pass it off to her if he was there? Megan is not sure if the uncle was there, but being Tina's brother could still explain how Chuck knew about this.
We also might hypothesize that Chuck is Renee's husband Chuck, and then think about James' fascination with Renee (along with the fact that she cries during his performance at the Roadhouse - so what is the connection here?). One of Chuck's friends could perhaps be Tina's husband, or the uncle (another way Chuck could have learned that Tina was the last to see Billy)
Audrey threatens to call Paul when she is arguing with Charlie, and I have no idea what to do with that.
Solved! Billy Idol is the uncle! 😀
BTW Mynok, it's beautiful.
However, a flow of events would have to be separate I think. It's going to very difficult since we are not clear on the timelines. But a very useful additive.
As far as events go, when exactly did Chuck inform Audrey of Tina seeing Billy last? That Chuck/Audrey interaction leads to wondering if Chuck came to her, did she go to him, random meeting outside the home, or did they phone? And who placed the call, and why?
Chuck is certifiable, says Audrey. Does that mean he's a husband that might stop his wife (Tina) from talking? Or does it mean he's the violent-crazy Chuck married to Renee and therefore not Tina's husband. So then how would he know Tina? Brother? Lotta ins and outs, lotta angles here.
The movie, Three of Hearts, stars Sherilyn Fenn, Kelly Lynch, and Billy Baldwin. Lotta smoke, but ridiculous, right? We're all like Hawk. Is it about Billy Zane?... No. It's not about Billy Zane. Gotta think DL saw this coming. You guys catch yourself looking for clues and inuendo in daily life now? Twin Peaks syndrome.
