I seem to recall reading that the actor said it wasn't him in Carrie's house, but I'd have to do some work to try and track that down.
Either way, I remain unsure what to do with the fact there was a dead guy in her house.
I suppose it depends on how you view the 'Odessa world': is it just simply (simply!) a parallel universe or other dimension, a dream, a meta appearence in our universe? For example, if it was a dream (and I don't think it is at all), the dead guy becomes symbolic rather than just a mysterious dead guy, and that puts even more weight on the audience's need to solve his identity and purpose (because the symbol carries the extra weight of the symbolised).
In other words, I don't know who he is or why he's there. But the first step towards working that out is working out the framework of what you believe the 'Odessa world' to be.
Well, there's also the fact that he has that bulging stomach that looks like Mr C did when Bob was exiting him. Also, if you look closely, there's something weird in the front of his shirt....
And, who shot him? Carrie, I suppose , but why?
She had to get outa Dodge.....
Yes, you'd have to start with what is Odessa to us, and who is Carrie Page?
But having an FBI agent show up at the door while there's dead man on your walls would provoke wildly different reactions depending on what happened.
She wasn't hiding it, in fact she was excited that he had 'finally' showed up. That made me think she had called some sort of authorities and was expecting this. But then, where the hell are the local police? Who exactly did she tell, and why not the local police. Those brains weren't dribbling down the wall, it looks to have been a day or more old. Maybe several days.
What would let her be that nonchalant around an FBI agent? Maybe there was another shooter, or maybe the dude shot himself. There wasn't a gun immediately fallen from his grasp, but he did seem to be in a pretty casual sitting position, and his head got got from that position as per the jackson pollck on the wall. Of course forehead isn't a common self-inflicted site.
In conclusion, I take the scene to be exactly what we know it to be, a macabre, extreme and compelling mystery. Carrie Page is not your predictable middle age waitress, maybe she's into some dark shit, or maybe it just finds her because of who she is.

The gun is on the floor
doesn't look like he would've dropped it there though
No. I'd say Carrie shot him.
This theory was posted here, or on a Facebook page or elsewhere, I don't remember.
I've spent days on the computer to find clues after the last episode.
Cooper / Richard at Judy's is asking if another waitress is working here.
The waitress confirms and says she is was not working since 3 days.
After the OK Corral scene in the diner, Cooper asks the address of the other waitress.
Why and who is he hoping to find at this address ?
The name of Carrie Page is never mentioned during the conversation at Judy's.
Cooper is just getting an address, and not a name.
When he stops in front of the house of the address, we see the electric pole #6, and the electric sound, and we know what it means.
We don't know if the blonde woman who opens the door is living here.
She is introducing herself as Carrie Page, probably the name of the lady who is really living here, but it's impossible to know if she is telling the truth, if she is telling her real name.
Maybe she killed the guy (Mr Page ?) and the real Carrie Page working at Judy's.
Maybe Carrie Page is dead in another room of the house.
Maybe this blonde woman is a tulpa send here by Judy.

That can't work because the blonde womans scream blacked out the Palmer/Tremond house and sent Coop back to red room.
Could a Tulpa do that?
I like that theory. The only certainty is that it's debatable, it's fun to entertain different angles.
I hate to pivot the conversation, but I was just reading this article. Apparently quantum entanglement can occur across an arbitrary distance, but there's evidence entanglement can occur across arbitrary time too. Forwards or backwards. The present can impact the future, the future can impact the past. Manipulation of entangled particles is going to change our reality. Rewrite what's possible.

The guy on carries couch is the same guy who played Tommy the loan shark in Vegas. So assuming he is Carries husband there is a Tom Page in Carries house just like in Beverly's house. Beverly wears the loop necklace like or earrings like so !any of the other ladies in the show so she is part of this loop they are in.

I think we looked into this and it wasn't the same guy but now I don't remember. Can somebody confirm or deny?
Well I think someone posted that the actor said he wasn't the dead guy.

It seems like it was a big convo many months back and it turned out that it was NOT the same actor not the same character. I just can't quite remember and can't find the thread.
Its further back in this thread Pieter said it wasn't the same guy

Thanks. All the info over the last almost year blurs together quite a bit. 🙂
