The question was asked ( I edited out what is not important to THIS post/topic but included the screen shot for those wanting to see the 'official version'):
In this new timeline where Laura is missing, what became of Maddy?
Does Maddy survive? Does she not come to Twin Peaks at all?

So this now creates a burning question for me.. Is Carrie Page actually Maddy???
They were cousins, we know that. They looked very similar, and if Laura went missing Maddy would have never had a reason to go visit. I have a couple of cousins that I used to be close with in my youth, but we have all drifted apart, to different parts of the country. A lot can happen over 25 years.. so... could they be the same? Could Maddy's full name have been Madeleine Carrie Ferguson (or Carrie Madeleine Ferguson) and she got married to a Mr. Page?

I will agree that she may recognize TP, but I can honestly say that I don't remember what my aunt's house looked like (all I can somewhat recall was the garage having sawdust in it). If I had to guess, I'd say it was at least 35 years ago I was there (so I've got 10 years on my old memory from Carry Page).
Anyways, just a thought.
It's not a bad thought. And maybe in some crazed our alternate universe she is and her family was never involved with the TP Palmers thus Maddie never knew them.
In all "reality" (whichever one we are discussing) just about all things are possible.....and different.

great question! According to Twin Peaks Wiki (which got their info from various published works of the TP universe) Maddy was the niece of Sarah Palmer. Sarah's sister's name was Beth Ferguson and the script for Episode 2 stated that Maddy's father's name is Donald Ferguson.
Sarah Palmer was born Sarah Judith Novack and was born March 3rd, 1943 in Bellevue, WA. In the summer of that year, the Novack's moved to Los Alamon, New Mexico where Sarah's father began working in a subcontractor role on the Manhattan Project.
No additional information is provided about Beth Novack or (later in her life) Donald Ferguson.
It's an interesting thought, though if Carrie Page is Maddie that would kind of diminish the importance of Laura as "The One" and as the orb created by the Fireman.
I still sometimes wonder if Laura was a Tulpa or at least who was the Laura-like tulpa. After rewatching the demise of the real Dougie Jones, the gold bead/ball/marble/tiny-little-sphere seems so very similar to the golden orb.
In one of Frost's books (either secret history of or final dossier) it mentions that several area kids came down with similar health issues after Sarah's parents took her in to the hospital after that frog-moth crawled inside her. Evidently more frog-moths inhabited other folks in that area.
