In october issue of "Les Cahiers du Cinéma", the most important french movie magazine, Twin Peaks is on the cover for the second time of this year and once again, more than 30 pages on The Return.

In an article, there is a reference to a 1987 BBC program with David Lynch presenting the surrealists.

Lynch choosed some movies excerpts.
Including this one, the episode "Desire" by Max Ernst from the 1947 Hans Richter movie "Dreams That Money Can Buy".

Don't miss the frog on the pillow 😉

About the 1987 "Arena" BBC program, with David Lynch introduction.

(from the book "Autorship and the films of David Lynch" - Antony Todd)

Great find. I can definitely see the influence on tulpa seeds, the moth-frog girl scene as well as others.
