I've just been reading theories about the mauve room and I had the thought that perhaps after Coop and Dianes sex scene and she dissapears from the motel room leaving the note to Richard from Linda, that maybe this is when she was turned into Naido and goes to the mauve room ?I know it's out of sequence /time, but could it work ?
Interesting idea.
I don't think sequence is an issue any more .
Well, if we follow (tulpa) Diane's story, it would seem that after Mr. C raped Diane, he took her to the Dutchman's/Convenience Store (she mentions an old gas station). It would make sense for this to be where/when the tulpa was created, leaving the question of what happened to the rest of Diane, or "real" Diane (however you want to think about that) - leading to the thought that it was then that she was turned into Naido and then placed in the mansion room (whether that was all part of one plan, or two separate ones)
What interests me in your suggestion is the parallel created by the worst sex scene ever. I've always felt that it must be an attempt at sex magick, but the goal of the same is something I have struggled to pin down. Perhaps the effect could have been to turn Diane (back?) into Naido, such that she is caught in her own temporal loop (?)
I don't know. Is there a way to think about this that really gets us somewhere?

Yeah, I dunno what to do with it actuslly!
The part of the sex where she covers his face and that they don't verbalise at all has to be significant. As is Naido not being able to see or talk.
I'm thinking out loud here, but at some point, Mr C took real Diane to the convenience store and raped her
He also made her tulpa with the white hair
At some point real Diane was turned into Naido and placed in the mauve room.
Only after Mr C was shot and Bob was smashed by Freddy, did we see the real Diane energe.
Mr C and/ or Bob suppressed her in the guise of Naido.....
When Coop realizes it's Disne, he says "do you REMEMBER everything? " she says "yes".
What is it that the fireman says?
"Agent Cooper, listen to the sounds. REMEMBER 430 Richard and Linda. Two birds with one stone. You are far away"
Does Diane get sent to be Naido after the sex in ep 18? In one of the "253 time and time again" loops? She does see herself outside the motel. ...
What can we do with all this?
Dougie and Diane / Naido tulpas were apparently manufactured with this same disgusting stuff :

Inside of Naidos looks like the black sky with stars that Coop passed through on his way to the mauve room
