Side note to Murat, I'm finally listening to Entertainment Weekly's very last Twin Peaks podcast, and they're talking about the Mitchum brothers being underworld figures in a transactional relationship with Dougie like how the Black Lodge characters had a transactional relationship with Bob in FWWM. I don't know how this podcast will reconcile the "evil" of the Mitchums with Cooper's notion that they have hearts of gold. But anyway, even though I disagreed with your take on the Mitchums months back, I'm just letting you know Darren Franech and Doc Jensen have a take somewhat like yours.
