...are what Bushnell Mullins is going to work on with Coop-in-Dougie in 3.10. Many questions and matters are left after 3.09, but we as viewers and fans are getting some of our best answers since 3.01 and 3.02 left us with many unsolved matters:
- 'the zone' (great find of the blog's internet location, Pieter: I was 'visitor 17 (!) since 1997')...I sincerely hope it is -as someone suggests elsewhere refers to Tarkovsky's 'Stalker', my favorite film-of-all-times. Here's Tarkovsky's version of Glastonbury Grove (1979), also with a reference to 'one more experiment'.

- Janey E's ring in the stomach of Briggs body still was our only link (so far) between the Las Vegas/Rancho Rosa storyline (where Janey E/Dougie are) and the Buckhorn/Yankton South Dakota line (where Briggs' body and Ruth's head and Bill Hastings are). But now we have a second connection: if Dougie was 'manifactured' in 1997 and 'The Search for the Zone' blog started June 1st 1997...thank you 'Eric from Sweden'. And do we now maybe better understand why the 'charcoal man' near Hasting's cell had a head that floats up, Briggs style, like we said hinted at decapitation?
- At least we can now do the math on Briggs body: he should have been 72 years old minus 25 makes him 47 in full hibernation. He might even have 'invaded' his sons body. Would be a nice mirror to Leland/B.O.B.
- Wonderful observation by the Vlog Lady on YouTube: Hastings dates his signature identiying Briggs '20/9'; in Twin Peaks it is 29/9 (because 10/1 and 10/2 are the next days). We seem to be dealing with not only different dimensions, but timezones too
- My bet: Ike the Spike's plastered hand is really BIG. A brand new spike could fit in it....
Bushnell will work on Dougies situation with him, the series of related crime attempts against Dougie, that someone was out to get him. I think Bushnell will help Dougie the next day, he understands that something strange is going on and probably thinks its related to Dougie exposing the insurance fraud to him. The cops couldnt be bothered when Bushnell tried to see if they were interested in helping Dougie or actually investigating the reason for the two related incidents(they dont think about solving mysteries since 'its always about money, no other reason than that'), too busy with their jokes, and actually are trying to 'get' Dougie; they 'get' people, dont help people. So they would wait for Dougie to be dead, then look at that isolated incident, leaving the entire crime network hidden. This is why Mullins was grasping his right hand, once he realized the cops were going to do nothing, he wanted to punch them....Mullins' MO is old fashioned decency, ethical duty, etc(at least to some degree).....
It seemed like those cops were funny, goofy, etc., but youve gotta remember, they are acting like that in their role as cops, really should be nowhere near authority, not fit....imo.....
And they echo the 3 candy girls in the casino (Jim Belushi) scene: the 3 graces become the 3 stooges
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but if you turn the sound up, Hastings actually says "nine twenty-nine" as he dates the photo...
