Why is this woodsman "solid" and non-translucent.......?
Maybe because they can make themselves solid as and when they need to. The guy who was asking for a light was solid, too.
The ones around DoppelCoop may have hurried there, like a team of paranormal paramedics, so didn't have time to go for full on solidity. Or, they needed to be half in this world, half outside in order to bring DoppelCoop back.
