'Heavenly mutilated' is what Tammy calls the result S3.03 timecode around 52:00. Want me to show you the photo of the 'victims' again? Okay, 'ripped up'. But why is Mother/Experiment 'removing' so much of their heads/brains?
Heavily mutilated, not heavenly. I don't need to see it again. They don't look eaten, they look like someone took a chainsaw to their heads.
Just found this juxtaposition of S3E1 and S3E3 (with Mother/Experiment). Interesting stuff:

@SamXT: yes funny, my mind must have dozed off to 'Heaven Island' writing that post. 'Heavenly mutilated' is of course supposed to read 'Heavily mutilated'. But having said that: even Ruth Davenport got to keep her head, just her eye missing...I used 'ate' between brackets (or whatever you call them over the Atlantic). I still think the Mother/Experiment-exiting-the-Glass-Box scene refers to the hi-jacking of brains/minds. Invasion of the skullsnatchers.

Nobody seems to have made the connection between how Ruth Davenport's head looked compared with Darya's, after Doppel Coop shot her in the head. Given that Ruth's head was with Major Briggs' body and Dougie's ring was found there, plus Doppel Coop showing up in town to shoot Principal Hastings' wife, I think it's a safe bet it's Doppel Coop wot dunnit.
But....then why is the allpowerful Mr. C hunting for 'coordinates'?
PS: No reference to New York in 3.09 what-so-ever. Bet still on
