I have been thinking about this scene since I saw it this morning

I remember the first time I saw thinking and thought "meh...just some other random scene I will never understand" but now I wonder...

Could Coop be another of these celestial chosen ones...crated by or chosen by the GIANT to destroy Bob,... the only ones who can do it.... Coop and Laura?

I remember seeing a leaked picture from the set of the new series of Kyle and Sheryl Lee in front of Laura's house at night time so (unless Lynch leaked it to distract us which is MORE THAN POSSIBLE knowing hes done it before) could it mean that Coop and Laura eventually catch up/meet again in the future/past? and fight together against Bob?

Not at all. I think this is related to the golden orb that Dougie left in the Lodge. Too soon to jump to conclusions, so let's wait.

PS: I find it awesome that they decided to give meaning to that scene from S2, probably the idea they had back then haunted them as well for 25 years and found an incredible way of make it work.

There were several reveals during the sequence after the atom bomb explosion. Following the arrival of the woodsmen, and the Experiment birthing all the eggs and the Bob orb, there was later the congealing mass of gold.
