Well she was a Ferguson so she's either Lelands sisters kid or from Sarahs side. I always wondered about the fact that Maddy looked so much like Laura was because Leland was her father. We know that Bob was with him as a child and so was with him when he fathered Laura. So Bob has no problem having Leland rape Laura so why not also his own sister.
Good point, the thought had occurred to me. Bob has to inhabit "vessels". I think the bug is either Bob at his infancy or will use the girl's body to evolve into human form.
My thoughts exactly. As I stated earlier, it was BOB who came in the form of a cockroach and the young girl would later gave birth to Leland. The rest is history.
At his death scene Leland told how when he was a boy Bob asked if he could be inside him, and he said yes.

Basic theme is, how do we deal with law, rules, control the madness when she is gone, when exposed to the void, apocalypse inside, how to react and infinitely affirm: it is a vicious castration complex from Mr. C, BOB etc., their weakness is relying on white but knowing that white is using them and doesnt care about them, so they go crazy in an impotent rage, much like Richard Horne after being humiliated by Red, then rejecting all rules, need the angel no matter what etc., black is controlled by laura, everything becomes stagnant repetitive impotent decay as everything services the personal affections of wild tyrants who just take the rules as terror to service their arbitrary affections and profits, etc.
Lucy is also onto this when she is talking about the thermostat(device/law giving measure/rule to something) which makes things 'comfortable'('natural' spiritual background, radio, internet etc.) when no one is here, she is onto 'what is missing', how people deal with void/apocalypse.....Lucy is smart here by questioning social rules, looks as if she is paralyzed, caught in a crippling mental realization after she sees the contemporary law, cell phone/iPhone culture(which is of course a billionaire-military 'experiment' as Google facebook, etc. use military torture to control behaviour, watch everything etc. with powerful computers), the 'world full of truck drivers'.......
