Apologies to whoever mentioned Chronos - I can't find who it was as the search doesn't work for me or I would have added this on to your post. I was thinking of the same thing, but then I thought what might be more relevant here is if there's a Native American creation myth along similar lines?
Is anybody familiar with these? I've had a Google & there seem to be some examples, but I don't have any knowledge of how else they could connect up.
Are you looking up myths thinking that the Experiment vomiting scene might actually be the original creation of evil in the world, Lynn? That the Experiment was outside of time when she vomited, and the eggs and the orb fell on Earth all throughout history?
Just as a general 'bringing forth' idea. Chronos ate, then vomited up his children; there's various eggy-things; Mr C 'births' BOB; & the NIN lyrics talk about 'spilling your seed'.

There could be parallels with Hopi mythology, but I can't remember the cycle well enough to comment.
