I'm sure there's at least one other; I saw someone with a Dalek in their avatar.
Anyhow, the place in the purple sea - particularly the one where Cooper meets the eyeless woman - reminds me of the Who episode where the Doctor is trapped in his own confession dial.
There have been a few other things which remind me of recent Doctor Who, also. Then again, there are plenty of things in recent Who remind me of TP, too.
