Wouldn't it be better to show the entire Lodge inhabitants mid-"evolution" to avoid this flaw?

Not necessarily.  Who knows what laws govern their bit of reality?

I mean, how many spirits do you know who live in a place that looks like the world's most boring hotel lobby, where time flows in a seemingly different direction, yet forwards, use owls as spies and live on creamed corn?

Because actors do 🙂

?  Nah, I'd actually rather see them return than get recast.  We all miss these actors.  Just too bad that Silva passed away and there was dispute with Anderson, they were both crucial creepy presences.

I also thought the hut in Buckhorn where DoppelDale picked up Ray and Darya had the feel of the room above convenience store scene.  The way the characters Otis, Buella, disabled person, and tall guy were there that way made me think they all could be the current hosts of the Lodge inhabitants.  Though probably not.

I'm just glad none of them gained weight.

Laura returning with an extra 75 would've been odd.

?  Umm, Audrey's gonna gain a bit, just a little....  But that's okay, come on!  Well, not Laura I guess, can't have a spirit age AND gain weight too!  ?

Maybe they are the Buckhorn chapter of the lodge!

You mean, in each mystical place the same beings are seen with a different look?  ?  I'm okay with the idea, but Jeffries' reappearance from Argentina was mixed with scenes of Bob and the Arm.  So I don't know if that means Bob and the Arm were seen by Jeffries in Argentina.

Yeah...I just meant the lodge spirits...it would look funny to gain some pounds in a place where this no food...and you're not actually human.

I met Sherrilyn Fenn a couple years back...she looked great!

I guess spirits age because, when you apply digital deaging to actors, you end up with Michael Douglas in Ant-Man or Robert Downey, Jr. in Civil War. Maybe?

Yes, yes I agree! Dale, Laura, Mike - they are not pure spirits, they live somehow inbetween two worlds so their appearance ages just like humans do.

I wish...but no...it was a horror movie convention...called "horror hound" I think.  Ray Wise and Sheryl Lee were supposed to appear in a later year but both cancelled.  I assume it was because of The Return.  Lose/Win.

I didn't see Douglas, but I thought Downey was good?  ?

But you're right, Hollywood's done it so often now, Kurt Russell in Guardians, Depp in Pirates.  There were others but can't remember.

I saw some vids on youtube, Fenn seems to be the funniest and most candid in these events.  ?  Well, Kimmy too.
