Any theory about who is Bing, the man mentioned by the guy who comes in to the RR?
Bing is credited like Riley Lynch, but he doesn't appear in the episode, right?
Bing was the guitar player of the 'trouble' band, associated with purple(desire/red and its failure-or-obstacle/blue). There was no trouble around at the double R diner, making the bob-looking guy anxious and running. That he appears in the credits is a clue....
So where was trouble and the color purple in this episode?: around Dougie/Cooper and his fight, notice the guy in the purple shirt that walks up and the purple colors around the cop cars on the street, plus the flashing white-electricity lights, just like during the trouble song. Also contrast this with Richard during the trouble: the continued presence of blue(limit, etc.) around cooper and how this disappears for Richard(only red remains) during the first trouble song, after he stands up to the bar employee, pays off the cop, then free to assault the girl, red keeps going(like diane)......
"pays off the cop"
It could be money for drugs. The Deputy in FWWM was crooked that way.

I'm going to look harder, but to me it seemed that the guy asking about Bing actually *is* Riley Lynch!
EDIT: Something like "he yells this random thing about someone named Bing, let's put him in the credits as that"
When I saw that Bing was credited as Riley Lynch, I assumed Bing was the guy sweeping the floor at the Roadhouse when Jean was on the phone. His haircut was similar, and Trouble felt like a house band.
thinking about it again, given all of the problems in twin peaks, there should be some kind of trouble from people like cooper/dougie(solving the case) there, and so far there is only the trailer park manager, and (some of) the police; that diner scene makes me a little uneasy....
not that they should be going wild at that moment, but someone needs to bring some cooper/dougie/cobra-like trouble to that town; its all up for grabs, and everyone is clueless, going this way and that without any concern for the antagonisms of the show (Laura, Cooper, drugs, unlimited extra-Oedipal surplus-profit, etc. flooding in, ruining the students etc. is now the norm apparently(Denny craig and school prostitutes are everywhere), all is good in the name of business apparently ; twin peaks is helpless and there all going along with it(shelly may even be with the big dealer Red...)
What is missing with twin peaks? serious trouble(trouble of criminals/richard etc. just hides the real problem, laura/world turning into rubbish, etc. that cooper is dealing with)....... everyone just ignoring the problems and going on and on repeating and accepting the same problems that led to laura's downfall
check whats in laura's diary that they did not read aloud, basically what it says is that no one is helping or listening, and she doesnt care about them anyway... also the same was said at her funeral by bobby, who denounced twin peaks as guilty for laura... apparently the town doesnt agree and enjoying it even more. So the clues in laura's diary can support the stance that the guy calling for bing at the diner is showing that there should be radical 'cooper-cobra' like trouble that deals with the problems instead of hiding from them and pretending its all going to work out....
btw, anyone notice the sweeping was like from the movie psycho, norman bates cleaning up after a murder(no song for twin peaks this episode), after the wife abused the husband on his deathbed and asserted herself and her cheating, etc(mother laura made her do it).....then jacque and his girls gain space
mother(also from psycho) and crying girl from the purple room as two aspects of laura appear in her diary that is not read aloud...... mother and crying girl kill the strong one/east-asian woman
Riley Lynch runs into the RR and asks about Bing. He's then credited AS Bing, and at the end of the credits, he just walks from the back of the RR to the front as if he was already inside. Two identically framed shots of the diner before and after he walks in reveal a jump in time (or reality): different patrons, the pie in the displays increases, etc.

I doubt it's a continuity mistake. Maybe they're just messing with us. Maybe he plays twins. Maybe, like the song in the background goes, the town of Twin Peaks is sleep walking before Bing walks in.
This is brilliant, thanks Pieter 🙂
I think Bing is the guy Andy is talking to about the truck.
The guy sweeping the floor looked like Riley Lynch to me, so I'm guessing that must be Bing.
Also, I don't think that was Riley coming into the diner at the end of the episode. It's hard to tell.
It sounds like he says "Has anyone seen Billy?"

He wasn't a blonde when he was on stage was he? I wonder why it would be him in the diner? Maybe I've missed something. It does happen lol.
Riley had blonde hair during production. Could be the Roadhouse performer was Bing's twin brother, Google.

Or Bong?

I could have sworn he said Billy as well. And I guessed the same thing about the guy sweeping the floor being Riley and figured him to be Bing which I would not think was the dude who was looking for........ Bing, Billy, Bob, whomever?
