When I am looking to this picture of Stephen in the woods with his gun and his lumberjack shirt, I remember me 24 years ago wearing this shirt with the Inferno circles, at one of the very last Nirvana gig in february 1994 in south of France.
DAMN!
When I initially saw this happening with Jerry, my first thought was that the Arm (I am the Arm) was going to get a friend (This is not your Foot) in the Black Lodge, that we were seeing how some entity was going to take possession of him.
We know the story of Mike and his loss of the limb, but I really figured we were going to see a beginning (more or less) or a similar thing happen to Jerry.
Only it never did.

I thought the exact same thing. Red Herring I guess and comedy relief. Not really sure but I want there to be something more to it.
Also relevant is he says his car was stolen (whether true or not).
The farmer also had his car stolen.
And then there's Billy with his bloody truck being stolen 😀
So if it's musical, what does that imply or lead us?
Aside from Jerry fighting with his foot, I find his Hawaiian shirt quite comical although rather Jacoby-ish.
In episode 7, Cole's first scene sees him whistling a tune for a minute or so. Could this be related?
